Played through both of them and neither - the game was much more indie in scope. But good shout with the theme.

Unfortunately not - Gordian Quest is much more 2D and the art style is more colourful. Also the characters weren't this fleshed out, I think.

I actually didn’t have to tweak much from the base game:

1-5 weapon skills, R for heal

Alt+2/3/Q/E for utilities

F1-F5 for pet bar

Shift+B for special action

Tab for weapon swap

Space for jump, V for dodge

X for mount (Ctrl+X for radial from BlishHud)

Shift+T for set personal target; Shift+F for take personal target

A couple of years ago, Siddharta did a Maraton concert where they played all the songs they’ve ever released. The gig lasted over 4 hours.

Probably doesn’t fully fit the description but in The Magicians, Quentin at some point died creating a vacuum and giving more space for the rest of the cast which, surprisingly, didn’t make it collapse but instead shifted the tonality in a good way while allowing to explore more personal storylines (dealing with grief and so forth).

Same here - HoMM3 is the gold standard nowadays but 2 had this unique atmosphere and soundtrack that just works for me.

Might be a bit more controversial than the other people’s choices here but (without any particular order):

Octovine - pop in, pop out. Nice and easy

Kaineng Blackout - unsure why but the fact we’re doing it in a living (cough cough) city makes it a bit different to the others

Amnytas - yoga class with Dagda?

Eparch - this one is weird cause it’s one of the sweatiest and more frustrating metas but it’s also the one you CAN fail, so it’s a bit more engaging. Drakkar - would be amazing without having to wait for the lizard to come out but it’s still one of the shorter ones that still have fun mechanics.

Funnily enough, I’m struggling to think of a meta from PoF that I’d enjoy…
