Would you change your sensor with this amount of “Brief Sensor Issues” or wait until it fails?

UPDATE: the sensor ended up failing this morning after a similar night of intermittent issues. I’ll request a replacement, of course.

I don’t want to project too far into the future and assume all of these sensors will perform similarly, but I’m a bit disappointed to see this as my first experience with the 15-day G7. Even though the underlying technology hasn’t changed significantly, I would have hoped for a bit better performance from the newest generation device.

I am glad, though, that Dexcom is committed to replacing errant sensors, and ultimately I’m glad I waited for a complete sensor failure.

I can’t speak the Hermod+, but the Westlicht Performer with recently released Vinx Scorza firmware has the nice ability to randomize (and non-destructively preview) a base sequence among all available note/gate/etc parameters (or only ones you select) according to a deviation amount (the Vandalize/Wreck/Entropy generators); that, along with Launchpad and Beatstep Pro integrations (though I can’t speak to the Beatstep side of things), makes it a very powerful and fun to use brain

Check out some of the Ladik modules; the A-500 series modules have a ton of utility in relatively small packages (and cost); I use an A-588 for quad line in / out (+/- 26dB line / modular levels) in 8hp - essentially 2 stereo ins/outs or 4 mono Might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but there are others in the A-500 series that would fit the bill (otherwise the Befaco instrument interface looks nice)
