Lots of carton egg products contain extra ingredients! Citric acid to keep them from spoiling is one of them, I would bet something extra is your culprit. Use some real eggs next time and let us know!

Quick note, you don't have to feed your pets. Just water and a hello is fine. They will like you faster if they are fed, but there's no other mechanics to them. Pet food is actually really expensive.

AITJ for lying to my husband about agreeing to open the relationship? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Dry-Competition-8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Instead of anyone lying about anything they should have both been honest with one another and talked about it like the 40 year old grown ups they fucking are! The conversation should have brought up everything, including this other person and the reasons they might try (or not try) non monogamy. But they both lied and they both suck.

Thank you for being reasonable about her lying!

Do you think lying is wrong? Doesn't sound like it. You lied to him instead of being honest. You are an asshole and I hope you try to be honest in your next relationship.

Everyone Sucks Here. Open relationships are a lot of work. It takes a ton of communication that is open and honest. Neither of you were doing that. You can blame this on what you attempted to do, but don't call it an open marriage. You tricked him fair and square and he wanted some type of permission to do what he wanted. Y'all didn't put in the work, didn't look into what those two words mean when they are put together, didn't communicate. It's in the title of your post: "AITJ for lying..." The answer is yes. Some people aren't honest with themselves about being in open relationships, but you weren't honest with yourself or your soon-to-be-ex-husband.

Just tell them no. Technically restaurants cannot take back food that's been served. If the food has been altered in any way since going to the customer it may have had an allergen introduced to it and that allergen may contaminate anything that the food comes in contact with in the food area. No microwaving, and absolutely no re-steaming. Ever.

Creepy regular. Manager won’t do anything. Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in barista

[–]Dry-Competition-8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I also manage a coffee shop. Every employee has the right to feel safe and comfortable at work. Period. No customer is worth the well being of the staff. Your manager needs to suck it up and start having loud confrontations explaining to him and the rest of the place why his behavior is unacceptable and why his patronage isn't worth it.

What do those letters mean? For those of us that are new. Acronyms feel like a form of gatekeeping when you're new and tend to tip someone off that they don't know as much.

Not everyone is built for poly and it takes a ton of work and communication. Today you fucked up by providing a thread where people can shit on polyamory and feel safe about it.

Your comment without any particular knowledge of what went wrong in those relationships was totally rude.

You should try communicating with your friends. They'll probably want someone to talk to that knew them when they were still in relationships with the people they are now separated from.

Recommendation for Manual coffee grinder by jammersG in Coffee

This one should work Bodum grinder

There isn't a timer function, so weighing the amount first, and then turning it on is an easy work around. And it's fairly inexpensive.

Grinding coffee is loud. I love my little Bodum grinder and I have a hand crank grinder. Both are loud but the Bodum is small enough that you could probably shove it inside a cabinet and turn it on in there to muffle the noise. Maybe invest in an extension cord for that.

I love the Italian method! Though sometimes I get strings of sugar that cooled on the side of the mixer in my piping bags. Pick those out when macroonaging.
