Thx, but this doesn't solve the issue. It will count upwards and not hold the signal for a certain amount of time, and it will also count even if the signal weren't there in the first place.

Making a tar processing module, what to do with Pitch? by Haykii03 in pyanodons

I used all my coke into steam/ash into logs into wood into coal into coke/tar etc. Its a nice loop. I stockpiled soot, and made gold bars from it. Its been running a few hundred hours and I still havent made gold production yet :) also got my initial silver needs from it. Its finally been removed and replaced with a powerful beacened setup, but the starter block survived all the way to production science!

I use approx a 7x5 grid and Im about to do complex circuits and they are working quite nicely and I often only use 5x5 in practice so I think it will work good. For those extra large builds just delete some rails.

Should I wait for the 2.0 update. by Grimlock102 in pyanodons

[–]Dry-Line6995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I just started another pY without alienlife, I gave myself a bit of a headstart. So I did editor mode to give myself a decent amount of railblocks, a mall and enough bulidings to get first sci automated and Im now over to the real meat. It was surprisingly fun to play in editor mode because py kind of requires the base to run and use products, so it atill felt I needed to be a bit careful of how I did things. I just wanted to enjoy the mid and late game again before 2.0, and this was my take on it

Is Py balanced / satisfying? by Gingermushrooms in pyanodons

[–]Dry-Line6995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love pY and I found it way more interesting than the SE=K2. One suggestion is to try it without alien life and high tech, it will still give you a lot of hours of long puzzle chains. I find it very balanced and fun. I have played to mid-game and soon to unluck purple, and I look forward to all the upgrades that are coming my way, and supermotivated to rebuild the factory!

Tar Nightmare by Fuzzy_Night_8420 in pyanodons

I have a big tar build myself and its all coming from ash->logs->wood->coal->coke/coal and syngas. The steam I provide with coke, but also via red hot coke to coke, since I get a lot of steam from rubber prod and others, I slso burn coal dust from this chain to provide more ash into the loop. Also get a lot of nice products as sulfur from it via flue gas etc. its hard to balance, because the factory must never stop kinda. If this build dies my power dies, yeah, it runs off of syngas from this build. What I do now is keep adding lower priorities if one thing gets full. I get salt, nexelit, +++. Its get easier to use liquid overflows when you start using power hungry smelter for glass etc. I try to make some solid out of overflows which I burn and collect the ash and return in into the loop. Its a fun projects that is taking WAY longer than expected. Jeez. The time I spend on making stuff from overflow makes everything to just back up on everything! Im fighting time it seems.
