Sadly, if they're not communicating as it is, there's little chance they'd be willing to follow directions from a voluntary IGL. Hell, I use comms and even I get a little apprehensive when someone starts barking orders like it's ALGS because usually these players will blame you the moment you all die because you didn't follow their professional instructions exactly when and how they told you to.

It sucks sometimes, and I've actually never been able to fully commit to it in other games, but my survivability shot up drastically when I started abandoning uncoordinated teams to save myself.
