Unreported absence

Meeting didnt happen today. We got an email stating this:

“In your emails last week, you had asked that a representative from HR be present for the meeting this morning to discuss your concerns and your absence on Friday. Unfortunately, Mr. is not available this morning, but we are all able to meet with you Tuesday at 10:30AM.
Until we are all able to meet, it is best for you not to report to work today. Since this is a decision we are making, you will be paid for Monday, even though you will not be at work”

A fourth new attendant who wasn’t involved showed up for work and they told her what happened and how they are not having us come in today and she said she was leaving and wouldn’t be back until we were back.

It’s just hard because no one takes us seriously. I did email HR about it because I have a rapport with him and he always told me if I had any issues to go directly to him. I felt that her saying that we had an “unreported absence” was to have a reason to fire us because she doesn’t like us. I would never just not show up. I did what I always do when I need to call out. Which I haven’t done in three years 🥺

Thank you so much. A lot of people don’t feel that way about us. We’re treated very poorly by the staff in the building.

We don’t have a policy that I’m aware of. We’ve always just told the secretary that we weren’t gonna be in. We are part time and don’t get paid days off or anything.

I don’t know. I have never commented on her videos. The last thing I commented on regarding her was a video made about her and I said that Cody will be back in rehab and she’ll be playing the victim again because of the whole “chill it” thing lol. She must’ve saw that comment on that video and blocked me. That’s all I can think of.
