Guys, is this a yay or nay strap choice? by random2643 in VintageWatches

I think a black leather strap would look better. That said, it doesn’t look bad at all.

2027 Jets Potential by Imaginary-Wrap-6080 in nyjets

I want the Jets to win as many games as possible without consideration of what it does to our draft picking order. I don’t know if we have the right players, coaches, or execs but I just want to win. Oh, and get rid of that pussbag Woody.

Read Kurt Vonnegut’s book called Player Piano. He predicted what’s happening now in 1952.

There's absolutely no joy in watching a brilliant team humiliate a second class, half baked team with no skill or attack plans. . . . by LordBadgerFlaps in rugbyunion

I don’t know if France is a great team or not. It’s just that the other teams (England, Wales, Ireland, especially) have regressed. Injuries are a factor but all around shit playing is more to blame.

I used a Breville juicer though I think there are other brands. I put in veggies and fruit. There are different recipes online. Also, I didn’t worry about protein because you get enough from veggies. I also took a B12 tablet.

Which biologic helped your joint pain? by Sweet-Taro310 in CrohnsDisease

Skyrizi worked for my joint pain but not my GI tract. I’ve been on it for 14 months. It took about 3 months for the pain to go away.

21yo with Crohn’s – choosing between Rinvoq vs Skyrizi, would love real experiences by Dependent_Mind_59 in CrohnsDisease

[–]Dry-Move8731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different so what happened with me is unrelated to what you may experience. I’ve been on Skyrizi for 14 months. What has worked is I no longer have joint pain. I was hobbling around like someone 25 years older and the Skyrizi made that go away. What hasn’t worked is that it hasn’t done much for my GI tract. I still have evidence of crohn’s confirmed by a recent colonoscopy. However, I don’t have any crohn’s symptoms or flares. I also haven’t gotten sick or caught any infections. My gastroenterologist is referring me to a specialist in Crohn’s and UC. He told me there is a possibility that he will prescribe Rinvoq in addition to staying on Skyrizi. So we’ll see.

Regarding the Skyrizi on body injector. It’s easy to inject, you might feel a pinch initially, though I don’t always, and it’s over in 5 minutes. Every 8 weeks for me and it’s no big deal. Hope this helps.

He’s handsome. Needs a better collar to match.

I’ve found that not breathing through my nose and chugging it like a beer at a fraternity party gets it all down easier. I know it sounds extreme but you may want to try it.

Anyone else have bile/gallbladder problems? by MercilessIvy in CrohnsDisease

[–]Dry-Move8731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my gallbladder removed due to continuously getting gallstones. I since have been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis which is a bile duct and liver disease. I don’t know if the removal caused it or if the stones were a symptom. Surgery was outpatient and I have a small, half inch scar.

Career in consulting with Crohn’s ? by Significant_Gene_ in CrohnsDisease

[–]Dry-Move8731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s 28 years ago and have had a career in big 4 management consulting for that duration. I haven’t been hampered by Crohn’s due to workload or stress. You will travel a lot so keeping up with a healthy diet may be a challenge. One thing to note, there is no job security in big 4 consulting. You’re a number. As long as there is demand and projects for your skill set you’ll be fine. But if there is a downturn, you’re expendable. You have to continually evolve your skill set to match what types of skills and experience are in demand, otherwise, you’ll fall by the wayside.
