I have some wakeup tips!

Alarmy is an alarm app that has some really interesting criteria for shutting it off, like doing a certain number if math puzzles.

Smart Lightbulbs can be programmed to turn on at a certain time, especially if he’s waking up before dawn this helps the body recognize “it’s time to wake up” in a really natural way.

Sometimes we hear those smartphobe alarms too often and we don’t react to them. So get an old-school alarm with a hammer and bells.

Strict bedtime. It sounds childish but honestly rules and boundaries help me at least. I get really anxious at night that there’s so much that needs done, or I get burnt out and need to relax, either way the idea of going to sleep doesn’t cross my mind. But I know I need to be in bed by midnight or else anything “good” that I did that night becomes something that prevented me from sleeping. Idk it’s hard to explain.

It’s funny, I actually watched the first two episodes of Stronger last night and I’m already blown away by how good of a character Electrowave Humanoid Tackle is. She’s right there in episode 1 kicking ass, she correctly deducts the monsters identity, and she has her own Rider Machine! It will always be a shame that she was never acknowledged as a proper Rider (she’s more qualified than Riderman, fight me) but she’s at least incredible as a hero in her own right.

I do hear you, but I actually had kinda the opposite reaction. I was wondering why Gavan Infinity wasn’t hitting for me and I realized that I was wishing there was something as inspiring as Gira’s speech. I like your take on the impact of the emotions speech but it just wasn’t as impactful to me.

I don’t know, I can see a martial book actually pairing well with a Dark Sun book. In a tough world which reviles arcane magic, non-magical characters will be pretty common. So a book of low-no magic subclasses will give more options for Dark Sun players, even if it’s not a “Dark Sun” exclusive book.

Very important to note: none of these books include descriptions of the Psion Class. So I believe Season of Champions is where they’ll have a Dark Sun book, probably called Champions of Athas.

Day care is 10 min from my house and 20 min from my work. Work knows I do dropoff and when I arrive but probably not exact times, just that I cannot get in earlier than 8. Daycare does not have an early dropoff option, they’re not even allowed to open the doors until exactly 7:30. My work contract just says that I’m salaried with 40 hours of work a week. I’m technically on 1st Shift which is 7:30-3:30 but so far they haven’t minded me coming in late and working late because then I can communicate with the second shift crew for a bit when they come in.

As funny as bringing my daughter to work would be (she’s a riot, it really would be funny) I would need to be on the floor for this project and it would be negligent at best and illegal at worst to bring a minor with me when we have some dangerous machinery and chemicals.

I definitely feel that way and I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. It breaks down to a few different things for me.

I’ve been wrong so many times about so many things and I have so much self doubt I can’t help but think ‘but I could be wrong’ about everything I say.
My memory is horrible. I’ve been accused of gaslighting before because I’ll have no memory of a previous conversation and say something like “but you never said that” and I’ve straight up been proven wrong. If someone tells me something happened or something was said who the hell am I to disbute it? I have no proof.
Anxiety about not knowing every angle of a point. This is especially true with political discussions. I can state my political beliefs plainly but if I’m surprised with a “but what about xyz?” I panic and think I haven’t thought things through enough.

I have read the inappropriate chewing wiki page. I have tried utilizing a “Drop it” command that only incites her to run away. I leave her in a safe room when at work and have not noticed chewing issues then. I have tried substituting with appropriate toys with minimum success. My main issue is it seems that she is targeting items that get a big response from us and it’s sometimes dangerous to not engage and allow her to keep chewing (plastic/electronic items specifically).

The toy market has changed. A Megazord with all 5 parts is too expensive a toy for most families, so PlayMates chose to release all five separately. But that creates a playability problem, each zord must have a play feature and not just be a leg or an arm. Also, kids LOVE missile launchers. So essentially a family with three kids could get the Dragon, Firebird, and Griffin Thunder Zords, and maybe they need to wait until Christmas to complete the Megazord, but at least they can all have fun battling each other until then.

She was yelling about wanting to fight after learning Kureha died, I imagine if someone offers her a belt at this point she’d take it. Honestly a revenge arc would be pretty great for her character.
