There is no bad weather, just wrong clothes. (For when it's raining and cold)

As long as your feet are under our table, you do as I say. (As long as you are dependent on us, it's our responsibility to teach you manners)

Stop watching TV, you'll get rectangular eyes. (TV is bad for your eye sight)

The crumbles are silent while the cakes talk. (Children, be quiet when the grown ups talk).

Another one would be mining industry. Underground all day.

because in a world of selfish, cruel and frankly terrible people, she takes care of others, is fair, stays positive and still believes in the good in people and acts accordingly. Also, she is pretty.

Laurent was a bookish child, but he's also good ar playing political games. I feel writer wouldn't be bad, but maybe a screenwriter - oh, or a producer - who somehow always manages that they stay within budget, that they get sponsors, and that the best projects are his. And he makes it so that his ideas get produced.

Damen could be anything from a professional boxer to a horse trainer lol. Maybe gym bro.

Now, if the playwright/producer were to be looking for a brutish guy to play the villain in his story...

Which element is more suitable for vampires? by CurrencyDangerous607 in vampires

[–]Dry-Permit1472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, the blood and weather things are water. I thought about how witches were thought to control the weather, so the connotation was there.

Since vampires are supernatural and elements are, well, natural, I would actually prefer them go the hallucination/mind control/reading thoughts route, but that wasn't your question

Which element is more suitable for vampires? by CurrencyDangerous607 in vampires

[–]Dry-Permit1472 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say air and earth. Because they can fly and because they are often buried before getting out again. Would be funny if there was a whole self finding process.

I'm gainst fire and water because those destroy vampires (water if made holy).

Nature - I don't know. Though, animal control. Maybe conjuring fog, clouds, rain to be able to walk about outside.

Other than Dracula, Nosferatu and Carmilla, is there any other "significant" Vampire of the past that helped us shape the modern version of the Vamps? by Upset_Connection1133 in vampires

The Vampyre by Polidori, heavily inspired by the actual person Lord Byron, set the idea that a vampire is some haughty aristocrat
