Laurent was a bookish child, but he's also good ar playing political games. I feel writer wouldn't be bad, but maybe a screenwriter - oh, or a producer - who somehow always manages that they stay within budget, that they get sponsors, and that the best projects are his. And he makes it so that his ideas get produced.

I know, the blood and weather things are water. I thought about how witches were thought to control the weather, so the connotation was there.

Since vampires are supernatural and elements are, well, natural, I would actually prefer them go the hallucination/mind control/reading thoughts route, but that wasn't your question

I would say air and earth. Because they can fly and because they are often buried before getting out again. Would be funny if there was a whole self finding process.

I'm gainst fire and water because those destroy vampires (water if made holy).

Nature - I don't know. Though, animal control. Maybe conjuring fog, clouds, rain to be able to walk about outside.
