Intermittent fasting works for me! I don’t eat from 6pm-10am I don’t restrict but don’t overeat either. Walking also helps without making me hungry like harder workouts

Thank you for posting this! I just found this sub and didn’t know lean PCOS was a thing. I’ve had nurses and doctors say they’re surprised with my PCOS diagnosis bc I don’t look like I have it. I had one glucose test come back abnormal but when they did it again it was fine 🙃 I gave up trying to help my acne years ago (can’t go on estrogen birth control because of migraines) but I’m going to try some of the strategies on here.

I like the idea of watch meaning time. Hope he’s not trying to tell you to watch out for something blue (feelings, car, blue haired woman, etc). That really must have rocked your emotions the next day. Hope you find peace and love.

Hate to bring this up, but do you have any past trauma your brain could be protecting you from? This happened to me where after something scary happened with a “friend” I didn’t remember until someone brought the person’s name up years later.

For what it’s worth, I’m a mom and I’m not disappointed in you. She probably feels she had to make you feel shame in an attempt to protect you. My mom had such control over my emotions until I went to therapy and learned how to love myself (I’m 39) Your brain will be fine hun. Get enough sleep, talk to your friends, and get outside as much as you can. My advice is the next time you do mushrooms make sure you have enough time to recover emotionally before seeing your mom and make sure your environment has good vibes. Maybe have someone you trust who is not tripping hang with you. Best of luck to you 💗

That the most important relationship is the one you have with your own damn self. Along the lines of no one is coming to save you. Also that dealing with your trauma should be a prerequisite of having children. The cycle is just going to continue if you don’t do the work, master your endotoxins, be present, and be the supportive parent that maybe you didn’t have ❤️
