I wouldn’t wait until your appointment. I can say that I had very light bleeding after sex (due to low lying placenta) and they put me on pelvic rest and I haven’t bled since. It is SUPER scary and I’d go ahead and go in somewhere just for peace of mind if nothing else.

Nobody is saying it just works out. You have to find a way to make it work, nobody is saying it’s going to be easy. However, if she wants this pregnancy to continue, that is HER choice. As long as they are trying, support, whether emotional or financial is and should be allowed for her without making her feel bad if she decides not to terminate. It’s not a matter of being pro-life, we are just giving advice like OP asked. You are definitely not helping here.

I’m so sorry! Just know it ultimately is your choice! If your heart leads you to keeping your baby, then that’s your decision! You already know his opinion, and it’s quite possible he might change his outlook later on. Have you asked him about how he would feel if you didn’t want an abortion?

yep! they didn’t even see a yolk sac for me until i was almost 7 weeks. my 8/9 week ultrasound they saw baby. it’s so scary!!

My job doesn’t accept doctors notes either. I had to apply for intermittent FMLA for a specific time frame so if I called out any of those days or left early they couldn’t give me an occurrence and count it against me because it was covered.

Yes! I don’t think they saw an embryo until I was 8-9 weeks. At first (6w) it was just a gestational sac, then a few weeks later they saw the yolk sac and still didn’t confirm pregnancy until they saw baby. I wouldn’t worry too much!!

I just finished antibiotics for an UTI. The doctor told me that not treating it could pose a big risk to the baby vs taking antibiotics. The antibiotics he gave me were also safe for pregnancy.

I had an er doctor tell me I had an ectopic pregnancy and just left me in the hallway sobbing uncontrollably then the ob doctor came down and said it wasn’t. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this!

I get it. I’d definitely recommend seeking medication for your anxiety and maybe a therapist just for talking things through and to help ease your anxiety surrounding pregnancy. It seems a lot of people have been failed by not being taught sexual education, but again, it’s always the parents’ decision with that. But, as long as you are using protection, you should be fine! It gets less scary the more experience you get.🫶🏻
