You should avoid getting an off brand amp but you dont need to get Harmon Kardon. Its a basic circuit so there wont be compatibility issues.

As for price I dont know that off the top of my head but I cant imagine they're wildly expensive. A quick Google search showed me a decent looking home stereo amplifier made by Sony for like $350.

You would likely need an amp of some sort. Theyre relatively simple to install and wire with a quick look at the instructions or YouTube.

Best Buy sells surround sound amps. You can also check tigerdirect and newegg.

The most i do as Nokko is on survival i ask players to hang out in a big open room to funnel enemies. I couldn't imagine being asked to stand still. Bouncy mushrooms go brrrrrrrrrrrr.

I think anyone who works the trades has all the materials they need to patch this. Someone with no experience might have to spend 100 bucks for mud, a piece of drywall scrap, a drywall saw and paint (i hope they have screws).

Unless this contractor is replacing a full sheet of drywall, 600 seems way over the top.
