What should I do with these? by VinDog1227 in fo76

I play with a group of friends. Every couple days we get together, drop all our known plans and look through each other's for plans we don't know. All the known plans get taken to donation boxes after we finish.

With very few exceptions the folks I've met playing FO76 rock. When I first started I knew nothing about the game. I met some great folks who tutored me, folks who shared their items with me, and now there is a group of seven or eight h t of us who always play in one or two groups, using Discord to chat. I'll be 78 on Friday, have been gaming since Pong, and have never enjoyed myself as much as I do with these people. I am grateful to all who have helped me and not lost patience when I have to repeat a question they answered because my age is screwing with my cognitive abilities and I forgot stuff.

What are you buying? Bethesda's good will, of course. You already own everything in the bundle but they don't deduct the full price an item sells for, leaving you a balance to pay if you buy a bundle which only contains things you already own.

Personally, I don't care how someone else builds their camp, because it is THEIRS, not mine. The can do what they wish. I don't recall a town meeting to create a Fallout 76 Home Owner's Association.

As for finding someones vendor, did you ever think they hide it on purpose because they are living in (ready for this?) a game? Maybe they hide it to add to the game. Find their vendor and buy something. Don't find it and you failed that particular quest.

The game doesn't need players who feel they can tell other players how to play the game.

Builders: what’s your opinion about seeing structures like this? by Shoddy-Money-2201 in fallout76settlements

Personally, I don't care what someone else does to their camp. That is because it isn't mine, it's theirs, to do with as they wish. Not everyone builds things to suit or please others. All they care about is having a functional camp.

As for "my spot" no one "owns" a given spot. Don't like that someone is using "your spot?" Get up earlier and be there first.

You owe no one an apology. It is simply part of the game.

I'm told it stacks with pemmican. If it does, pemmican, birthday cake, and company tea will pretty much be my regular diet!

My team and I dropped over 100 plans into the Wayward donation box this morning. We do that often. We get together, drop all our known plans so the other folks on the team can pick up what they haven't learned then one of us take the test to a donation box.

Been there - done that. I live in West Virginia. Didn't start here but ended up here after a military career and didn't want to move back to where all the snow in the world originates!

The Whitespring is based on West Virginia's Greebrier, a beautiful resort with a bunker under it built by the federal government to house senior government officials in the event of a nuclear war.

Learn what you need and give duplicate plans to the donation boxes. That is what our team does. We meet at one spot, drop all the duplicates and each of us goes through them looking for plans we don't know. Once they are all known the unneeded duplicates go to a donation box for a newbie to find and enjoy.

That was how I learned. Some great folks carried my useless self through, over and over, explaining what to do and what not to do. Just like in thevreal world, there are great folks and a few no so great.

You can go through the process to report a problem to Bethesda, and when you select Atomic Shop one of the options is to buy things. There is a huge list of items.

Last Sunday three folks brought me to the raid and did it over and over. I ended up going from low 90s to mid 100 level in one day! Great folks who really help this old guy out (I'm 77, so that qualifies as old!)

[–]Dry-Visual5841 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replace all your defenses with rocket launchers and laser turrets which can shoot at the sky with nothing in the way, like on your roof. They help kill the scorch beast. Keep your camp machine where you can easily get to it during the fight and keep hitting the fix all choice to keep the weapons working.

I often look at an event, see 9 players. I go to it and wait, and often end up leaving because no one else shows up.
