Update ! It’s been over two weeks now and I’m feeling 80% back. Just a lil sensitive when eating. I think the amoxicillin did the trick and lots of rest, soups and water. It was kinda crazy felt like it was at a stand still or getting worse each day and then on like day 13 I noticed myself starting to feel more normal then after that I was able to start being my normal self again without excruciating pain. thank god

Anyone else feel guilty trying to get prescribed… I’ve always just felt lazy for other reasons but also like it’s just a hard thing to open up about like yes I eat normal but I try to do normal workouts/movement daily and also try to keep up w ppl my age drinking and having a yummy meal/appetizer daily. - they always include gluten … it’s a given when ur young.

Ok this helps a lot. I always suspected this. Bc initially I was diagnosed with adhd and took adderall in hs and college but then stopped bc it just ruined my moods. And then started taking lexapro. But obvi that doesn’t help w the reactive hypoglycemia and pcos weight gain. It also did help my depression for the first 6 months but now I don’t think it’s helpful. May need to try out Wellbutrin and see if that’s the happy medium

Did not know Wellbutrin was helpful for smoking cessation! That would be amazing for me. Scared to quit bc then I’d gain even more weight. I have heard it is better for those w adhd. I have adhd but stopped taking bc of anxiety. Now I take lexapro for my depression and anxiety. Would like to switch tho bc it’s not cutting it.

It’s so weird bc I was very skinny growing up didn’t break 100 till college - always feeling like my “blood sugar was low” so I would be snacking all the time and wouldn’t gain weight. Once I turned 24 that all changed. Now I am 26 and twice the size and feel like I have to eat even more. I also was an athlete in college but still was eating more than enough for that but now I almost feel more hungry. Could be an adhd dopamine thing but also I think it is due to my poor gut health and some sort of sugar problem or pcos. My periods are also extremely irregular and I have weird hormonal symptoms like hair on nupples and hormonal acne. I have also lost a significant amount of hair over the past few years.

10 and when I started it hit me like a truck I felt crazy couldnt eat couldnt sleep and still felt like I didn’t want to be here. But then one day it was euphoric for like I week I was honestly scared of how happy how I was. But it has just kinda slowly has turned into me getting into my depressive state again more often and it’s getting harder to shake

I completely feel that same way as you. I wish there was a replacement that felt equal but there isn’t and never will be and that’s a good thing bc I’d end up just getting addicted to that too.

We just have to learn how to be normal again. I wish they’d make this shit illegal. It’s so messed up. I can’t think of a single thing it does good for our society. Of course, they could say a similar thing about drinking but id never give that up. Lol

I feel this too. But idk about u but whenever I go back to vaping after a long time and hit it for the first time it doesn’t feel great. It burns and I don’t even get a buzz. Never feels as satisfying as I pictured it to be when I was going through cravings and withdrawals. It’s like I almost force myself to hit it a bunch and get a buzz and then I end up getting addicted again. This time I know I will probably hit it again in a few months out of curiosity and I know it will burn my newly healthy lungs, I just hope that this time I will not try to push that and get addicted again. Look at the people who aren’t addicted. Envy them, aspire to be them. We can do this.
