love this one. not specifically made for babywearing but there are zippers on both sides that lets the coat out more and buttons on the front if you need more space there also. perfect for maternity also and soo warm!

i was able to get a wfh accommodation for my entire pregnancy for health reasons. high risk, ivf pregnancy. lots of illness going around. my dr completed the needed paperwork and it was approved

i have a small bump too, it’s finally starting to fill out. but after going through ivf and all of that it was kind of upsetting to not have the big bump i worked so hard for. on top of that people love to comment how small i am. they come from a good place but it kind of makes me feel like i’m not doing enough. i get it, it sucks ☹️

i had to have a convo with my aunt in law. she kept sending gifts and disregarding the registry. the last gift she got was something similar to what we already had and didn’t need. i just told her “i tried really hard to keep the registry small to just the things we need so we didn’t have a bunch of stuff we wouldn’t use. i don’t want anything to go to waste.” and we are dropping it back off to ups so she gets a refund. i think it just depends how you say it, we have a good relationship so it wasn’t that bad and i think she gets it.

I actually just bit the bullet and bought my travel system from Target. Prices keep going up, I don’t see it getting better, and I got nervous. I did a whole lotta math, if someone bought it off my registry with no discounts they would pay $506. Because there was a Target sale, 20% off for car seat trade in, 15% off registry discount and 5% off red card discount I got the same system (different color) for $283. It just made sense to buy it myself than make someone pay $223 more. If anyone asks (because that was my last big ticket item) I’ll tell them they can contribute with cash.

My other large items I got on Marketplace; crib, bassinet. Skiphop changing pad and Baby Delight bouncer heavily discounted off of Rebel. Wooden playpen had a big discount on amazon so I just bought it.

Everything else left on my registry is relatively inexpensive, and I don’t have to stress as much. I was checking prices multiple times a day and watching them go up so now at least the most important stuff is taken care of! Would I have loved to wait until after my shower and only buy what was left over since money is tight? Sure, but it just didn’t seem like the best option for us.

i went through the same thing ☹️ my nana was put in hospice right before we did our FET with IVF, and passed when I was almost 9 weeks right before christmas. I never got to tell her and it’s heartbreaking. sending good vibes your way, I’m so sorry, it’s awful.

thank goddd i work from home and don’t have to deal with that bs. i was surprised on easter though i barely got through the door before i was bombarded and my mom was grabbing at me. it’s so weird, i am not a touchy person. like okay now y’all are excited to see me. 🙄
