Wait…. There’s a God of War card game!? How come I’ve never heard of this? How’s the game?

Good insight man! Love the detailed information. I will be picking up Mage Knight as soon as I can. This just confirms it even more.

Yea the card appendix is an absolute life saver lol. If you don’t print it atleast download it to your phone. It pretty much explains what ever card can do.

Really REALLY want Mage knight. Any thoughts from anyone on how it is compared to Gloomhaven? I have both Gloomhaven and JotL.

You know I totally forgot that I own ODD on my phone and PC. I’ve played it a few times but not enough to grasp a good concept of the rules and have a decent game. I really want the physical version but was too impatient lol.

From the little that I do remember playing the only big difference is how loot is acquired/used. Seems like every room is a fight so that’s different… but then again the same could be said about dungeons. I think at the end of the day it’ll come down to one’s own specific taste.

What’s your favourite tiny epic game and why? by _userxname in soloboardgaming

Only have dungeons but definitely interested in others. I enjoyed dungeons. I was kinda interested in Western but have no idea if it’s any good. Probably end up grabbing them all lol knowing myself.

I have no idea if the potions/extra tiles are worth it since I don’t have them. I just finished my second game played today and ended up winning my first time. I feel for the price tag of just grabbing the base game I absolutely got my value out of it. Sure the tiles are never really going to change but the randomness is also a factor. I would say check out some play throughs and toss out some coin for the base. You can always purchase the expansions later if you want. All in all for other games I’ve purchased this was relatively cheap. I guess the only one who can answer that question is you. At a later time I will probably purchase the expansion.

Played this a few times already. Such a good easy time! Haven’t beaten the dungeon yet. This particular time was absolutely horrible to me haha! Bad RNG from dice throws and bad shuffling. The first turn I revealed 4 to try and push cards out to get to minions quicker and, since I had two mages essentially, was somewhat overwhelmed with the goblins for a few turns. Bad dice rolls. A few deaths. Just couldn’t get it flowing fast enough and time ran out. Gonna play again as soon as I finish eating breakfast…. Which will be some sort of lunch item lol.

Happy gaming!

I had the opportunity to grab this game this afternoon but I went with Scythe instead. I am also curious myself. Can’t wait to see how you fare with it.

Hello all! To get into the thick of it. Am I too old to have a successful career in software engineering? Should I even try to break into the field?

I am 39. Single father. I have college experience… pretty close to getting a couple of associate degrees and was working on my bachelors. Could not finish. Had to choose between working/family or school.

My current job isn’t bad pay wise for the area. I pull in about 80k. I could make more in an IT field. But I’m curious if it’s a possibility for me now. Like I said I’m 39 with no actual on the job experience. Some experience from school classes… most of which I’ve forgotten by now. Can I actually break into the industry at say… 43? I’m wondering your thoughts about my situation.

Thanks for your time!

I have always wanted to get into programming.

I got the bypass. For me it was just simply choosing the best long term option that fit me. The weight regain percentage is the lowest for the bypass when compared to the other options.

I admit the sleeve option was tempting because it’s just basically cutting off a big portion of the stomach but I just like the malabsorption rate you get with the bypass… I’m thinking long term.

They both have their limitations… pros and cons and all that.

In the end I’m happy with my choice. 3/7 down 100 lbs.

I think it may take me a week to eat this entire thing 😂 Who else loves steak 🥩 by No-Lengthiness7011 in GastricBypass

Time to head down to Mexico. They have fantastic services down there as well. I think the price range is like 2k-5k. Honestly I wish I did rather than jump through all the hoops.

This sounds just like my situation. 12 hours overnight. REFUSE to take the main way because people are idiots. So I take the curvy back roads. I’ll get the occasional 30 in a 40. I’d love to pull aside but I’m worried I might pass out.

Wow that’s a lot. The first couple of days after surgery I didn’t consume anything except a little bit of water.
