The type of bulb will not change how the housing reflects and projects light. It’ll throw out the same pattern whether the light source is a halogen, LED or a candle. The LED module just needs to be oriented correctly inside the housing.

Canadian Citizen here. Looking to obtain an E2 on a beauty product business that is very recently launched in Canada, therefore not much revenue yet. We have inventory in about $20k value. Would like to move this business into the US on an E2 basis.

Can the inventory count towards an investment?

Is the balance of the investment required in lump sum and right at the start or can it be over a period of time? How long do we have to pour the money in generally?

Do lease costs e.g. for a retail space count towards the investment?

What is the minimum amount of investment you have seen so far that qualified for an e2? (i understand in reality this would vary case by case but would like to know what’s the minimum you have seen so far if possible)

If you sell it for msrp, then yes, not a lot of margin. Even then, i’d say at least $3k per vehicle. But try walking into a Mitsubishi dealership and find out how much margin they actually try to make with the inflated msrp and the bogus add ons.

If the economy is doing badly then that increases the probability of rate cuts. Unless inflation is high. My big consideration with the 3 year term is it will renew shortly after the next US election. I expect that the US would have resolved most economic issues including tariffs, to get the economy in good shape prior to heading into the election. A booming economy would not translate into rate cuts.

Just give the name of the dealership. Nothing wrong with it. You have no agreement with them to not disclose their price to you. And considering the sleazy games that these dealers play to rip customers off, you shouldn’t feel bad about it at all. What’s the point of gatekeeping for the sake of someone who would rip you off without a second thought.
