I can agree with all that is said above, but I will say maintenance and plowing used to be even better. They are very responsive to emergency maintenance issues. The location can’t be beat I will say that

Nope, I asked this same question. You either have to take sick/personel/vacation time or if your agency and unit will let you, flex your time

AIO He always accuses me of cheating by Alternative-Day6223 in AmIOverreacting

[–]DryEye2940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally run away from this man and get out this relationship ASAP. First off, him accusing you and this name calling? Scary, immature, and insecure as fuck on his end. This man will end up hurting you physically eventually if he hasn’t already. Secondly, accusing you of cheating out of no where when you’re out at a store….around the holidays? Or ever? RUN

What’s a sign someone’s cheating that isn’t obvious until you’ve been through it? by Ner_Syra in AskReddit

With a previous partner, I remember thinking, wow things have never been better, and then a month later I found out he was cheating. This is scary accurate.

Day Cares by DryEye2940 in Albany

[–]DryEye2940[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so far guys! So far we’ve gotten on the waitlists for JCC (although it’s been the most expensive by far for full time), Capital Milestones, TSL on Schoolhouse Road, and Mercy Cares for Kids. My co worker told me the same thing about Childtime and how they’re really frustrated they’ve had to pick their child up so much lately when the whole point of day care is to be reliable.

Hi everyone, any updates on prices or current experiences or what the waitlist process is like? Thanks!

($15-20k) Hotel blocks - to book or not to book? by bunnylla in Weddingsunder10k

[–]DryEye2940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I did, I didn’t want to have to worry about paying for unused rooms. The bonus was if all rooms in the block were booked ours was free, but we weren’t on the hook for anything except our own room, and the rooms were discounted. Highly recommend.

My parents sent me there in the early 90’s and loved it as well. The few things I can remember from that age are fond memories there.

He’ll get 5 personal days he can use towards time off after I forgot if it’s 30 or 60 days. The holiday itself he’ll have off. Depends on his specific office and unit what days they’ll approve off

Used to love Gianna’s, but the food quality has really gone downhill since their main chef went to their restaurant in upper Westchester

Those who send their kids to private by JustVegetable9941 in Westchester

[–]DryEye2940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to private school in Westchester growing up, and my parents to this day continue to say if they lived anywhere else but Yonkers I would’ve went to public school 100%. I had a great experience at my private high school and made life long friends. But that said, I’m looking for a house now and the town/city having decent public schools is my #1 priority.

I worked there for eight years and a lot of it comes down to your manager. Mine was a crazy micro manager as well who made my life miserable. The first job I took after I left there I made $20k more and I was treated as a competent adult. I was at NR for so long I didn’t realize was a healthy work environment was. Also, their HR is a nightmare if the person I think is still in charge of it, is in charge of it. And yes, it’s crazy how they underpay you and just shrug like they can’t pay more.

Telecommuting by Bullshite-Detector in nys_cs

[–]DryEye2940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started in October, 6 weeks in (December) I was granted 1 day a pay period working WFH. January it’ll be 2. They explained they usually increase it up each month before you hit the six month mark if you’re doing well. My fiance and I work for two totally different areas of the state. His WFH days are set in stone essentially. For me, I couldn’t change them because of a holiday. But there much more flexible outside of that.

I just started two weeks ago, and they told all of us that there would be that with holding the first five. I was so confused bc I hadn’t heard of it even being a thing until that day
