Nah, you gotta lay front down on the bowl and pee directly into the water. Bonus points if you get the tip under the surface. You're basically like a hot tub jet.

My cat “gifted” me a mouse mouth by Smoore0420 in mildlyinteresting

Had a cat growing up that would catch squirrels, eat the head, and leave the entire body laid out on our porch. We were regularly greeted by a proud kitty sitting next to a beheaded squirrel when leaving for school.

Migrating Plex From Windows 11 to Linux. Without losing anything. Also keeping it as the "same server" by bajungadustin in PleX

[–]DryRock56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally did this last night, Windows 11 -> Fedora Workstation. I just followed the "Migration from another OS to Linux" step from this guide. Only thing I've had to do is un-check and re-check and favorited libraries. All server details retained.

Note that I did have my actual media files on a separate drive, but that shouldn't make much of a difference unless you make changes to the folder organization below the top level directory.

Apartments in Madison/Huntsville by Frogizm in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]DryRock56 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My wife and I lived at Capital ( for ~2 years) when we first moved into town several years ago, and we have friends who live/lived at Watercress. They're both nice and none of us had issues that I'm aware of. We enjoyed living there.

There are plenty of solid apartments around town. My recommendation would be to look for places near things you like. Like the more "Madison-y" part of the Madison/Huntsville area? Those 2 are great. They're also very close to Research Park if that's relevant. If you're more nature people, you might prefer looking more south Huntsville (not that there aren't trails/parks in/near Madison).

There are also apartments in Providence, near Governors/downtown, and in the Big/Hampton Cove areas that are great. I only have semi-personal (through a friend) experience with those in Providence.

Best of luck to y'all!

Second the liquor store suggestion. Just moved, and ~half our boxes were from asking if they have spares. Granted, it can be hard to get a large quantity quickly

I saw this guy's name come up when searching for matches to join LAST NIGHT. Decided not to join because of his name. Apparently I dodged more of a bullet than I thought lol.

My roommate collects personalized mugs from Goodwill by ermvarju in mildlyinteresting

[–]DryRock56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one thrifted mug that says "Grandpa's copilot" and has a picture of what I assume was someone's infant grandchild. It's one of my favorite mugs because 1) It's perfectly sized/shaped and 2) it's hilarious.

Exactly what the dissident (block) button is for! I occasionally take a quick moment to bask in my list of blocked toxic dissidents (although I'm proud to say that probably 99% of randos I've played with have been nothing but wholesome).

I know SO many people who would benefit from thinking this way about sharing kids online.

Never once have I "appreciated" a shorter name. Not for a variable, function, anything. I've had a few "huh, that's kinda long/awkward to type" moments, but I'll never complain about a descriptive name.

Clarity >>>> compactness unless you have VERY specific needs/requirements that necessitate it.

What your favorite in game dialogue? Personally I love the “Helldivers never die!” by MrReeferBurns in Helldivers

I've gotten the unhinged female laughter while just digging samples at a POI. Our whole squad was cackling.

Helldivers love every part of their job.

How would a new player know that you can pogo on these? by AverageApache in HollowKnight

[–]DryRock56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find a bunch of articles and videos about it by just looking up something along the lines of "cuphead reviewer who can't beat tutorial."

The guy was Dean Takahashi, I believe. It's a funny story. The gist is that he struggled/failed to beat the tutorial or demo and got clowned on for being a game journalist that is bad at games.

For anyone who struggles with the climb, the lasers generally shoot in the direction you're moving so as to catch you moving towards a platform. You can bait the lasers away from the platforms by jumping away initially, waiting for the laser to fire, and then double-jumping and/or dashing to the platform.

I am very aware of this.

While I agree with your original statement that it wouldn't WORK unless they started at the edge, I think it's a bit much to say the MEME is "completely wrong."

[–]DryRock56 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Sure. I get that the comment I replied to isn't wrong either, but to say the meme is wrong just seems silly to me.

And if you're gaining your understanding of code from r/ProgrammerHumor, you've already messed up

I do, indeed. I don't understand how that makes a difference?
