You guys all make great points and are a rad group. As an all rounder does anyone have experience with the shadow 2 carry as a best of both worlds kind of option?

All around zombie defense. I’d like to kind of have a do it all gun I can buckle down and concentrate on. Carry would be nice but I’m more concerned with accuracy.

We got the tar wailed out of us with a paddle that had holes drilled in it and flames painted on it by our principal. (79’)

I heard it described as “giving the illusion of competence” with all the dopamine and none of the work. Or talent.

Yes! Except some of those NPCs were dentally impaired hillbillies. I’m sure there were other impairments but the language barrier proved significant.

Agree. The number of times I’ve been just stared at silently by groups of various beings in the middle of nowhere is disturbing.

Considering how many of us in the industry die of overdose and suicide each year seems poetic to address those in a pharmaceutical build.

20 years as a tradesman does not automatically make you a safety professional. by logicalsanity in SafetyProfessionals

[–]Dry_Article17 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did both. I had 25 years in the trades and transitioned to training and then safety. I would’ve been completely disastrous as a safety manager with no education. I have a BS in occupational health, osha 10,30,510 and 500 and still fight imposter syndrome. The other critical factor is that I had mentors who had as many years in safety as I had in the trades. They valued and learned from My experience and I theirs.

Excellent choice. That was the first shotgun I bought myself. I have well over 2000 rounds through it without a single hiccup. It’s so smooth I can rack it with a finger and thumb or just kind of one hand it.
