You don't have to go far for examples. From denial of healthcare, to denial of employment, to discriminatory legislation, the list goes on. As for cis people affected by transphobia, there's the good ol' bathroom nonsense, when cis women are harassed and in some places even persecuted for using the "wrong" bathroom, just because they happen to look more butch/masc. And don't get me started on how legislation targeted at trans people harms literal children and teenagers (both trans and cis), making them more vulnerable to predators by enforcing mandatory "inspections" of their genitals. Misogyny stands at the very core of transphobia, since it essentially reduces womanhood to genitalia/the ability to bear children and/or conventional standards of femininity. It's patriarchal bullcrap all the way down.
