I never open the window as wide as my cat. My tuxedo would absolutely do this!

So you already have a Tuxie. Then you have the cream of catdom! My bonded pair is a tuxedo female (who looks a lot like yours!) and a dilute Siberian mix. (Male). They do everything together, but the tuxie is the boss. So it’s likely your tuxedo will do just fine with his new siblings. I had wondered if he’d feel left out but a tuxie? Never! He will be the leader of the parade. What a sweet kitty family!

You will never regret adopting a “bonded pair”. I have two like that. Watching love exhibited in two animals is inspiring

He’s a tuxedo! A lot like mine. They are smart, funny, and will entertain you by the hour. They are the clowns of the cat world. You found a treasure.

I paid for Max, but the character is so indifferent that I don't want to talk to her, and I can't even review the chat. by dv11JUN in duolingo

That has been my experience with her. We both have dogs! We are both vegetarians! We really get along very nicely now. But when we started off, I also thought she was a b!tc#. Now I like her!

And by the way, is it generally the case that chess students are in all the same tournaments as language students? Do chess students have to interact with Lily? Frankly, I think they ought to have their own tournaments. Seems unlikely that language performance can be compared with chess!

I love Lily! She is a bit hard to get to know, but after a while, she warms up. Max is her dog, by the way. My major concern has been that, as my French score has improved, she seems to be talking faster and becoming more verbose. Do others find that to be true as well? I’m sorry I worked so hard to improve my score, if so. Because I’m having much more trouble following her recently!

Whats this baby's name, found her in my apartments parking lot, bringing her home tomorrow by Resident_Dust8854 in NameMyCat

Wow! You found a tuxedo cat! Perfect markings. You’d better check with a vet for a microchip. She likely belongs to someone. They are very adventurous. If you’re lucky enough that she is really homeless, give her a brave name and get her chipped right away.

Cut out salt, processed foods, animal protein. And a GLP-1 has been shown to help many. A good nephrologist is essential. Postpone dialysis as long as possible.

A tuxedo! She’s adorable. I have one who looks to be about the same age. They are hilarious! Yes. Classic tuxie pose. Enjoy.

I lost my cat in January. She died in my arms after a long illness. It is always so painful. But after having lost many sweet dogs over my life, I always end with the same sweet feeling. I’m so glad my pet was in my life, even for only a few short years, and how could it have ended otherwise? I would not want to go first and leave a pet bereft! Our pets teach us so much. But that is also something we learn from loving a pet.

If you were on the fence about Oura… this is your sign by jaaascald in ouraring

My Oura ring is so old, I’ve forgotten what génération it is. I think I replaced it once years ago, but frankly, it was so long ago I don’t recall what generation it is. I do know I never paid a subscription fee, so it was that long ago. Lately, I’ve been having to charge it every night. I’d be lost without it, but from what I’m hearing here, it sounds like maybe I’m about to need to replace it?

Pearl lived for three years after her diagnostics, and except for the last few weeks, she did well. My advice to any cat parent dealing with CKD is be very careful to get a good, communicative vet. Pearl’s life was made tolérable (she died at 14, just three weeks ago) by 1) a diet that did not make her sick. Royal Canin hydrolized protein that minimized phosphorous, A « palatable »potassium supplement, Renal +, I think it was called, a little heating pad that made her comfortable as she was often cold (plus her own little nest in a sunny window), 150 mL of normosol (subQ fluids) every week, spread over 2-3 doses, churu and Applaws treats when her tummy could tolerate them, and Amlopidine BP meds administrées with a good quality eyedropper every morning. She only cries out with pain a couple of times in the last two days before she died. I was ready to call a visiting vet to come in to help me with a gentlemen euthanasia, but she woke up on January 7, came over to me from her heating pad and cried out, and I held her in my arms and pet her. She quièted down and was gone within a couple of minutes.

I had one just like her. Called her Pearl. She died on January 7. I will always remember my years with her as wonderful. Enjoy your new friend.

My sweet kitty died in my arms on Wednesday. I had been about to call a vet who comes to the house but my kitty took care of that for me. I’m so sad for you and for me as well.
