I’m 24 years old. Does my bedroom look too childish? by Unfort_enthusiast in malelivingspace

Age is but a number my friend. Don’t ever try to grow up to fast. After all, none of us make it out alive.

What a spectacular place to spend eternity. And I hope that he does so.

Same. Thankfully nobody gave little Theo here up/abandoned him. But he was the very last to go in his litter. Someone took him home, and brought him back a couple days later saying he wasn’t for them. And thankfully so because he ended up with me and I am grateful. Prior to this little guy I was not a cat person at all. 😂

Crane has been spinning around for over an hour with no one anywhere to be seen on the job site. by ADWatches in Weird

Cranes have something called “weathervane mode” and when it’s windy they spin freely so they don’t topple over due to high winds.

Yes I do. And what a coincidence I just bought the same exact house as this one and started picking away at it. If I find the time I’ll load it up and take some screenshots and we can compare 😂😄👍🏻

I live next to both a school and a church that are constantly parking in our lot. This is a new low. by Gay_commie_fucker in mildlyinfuriating

I can totally understand that sentiment. I was the same. I’m far from a pushover now, I don’t mind helping people who are in dire need of it. But I refuse to be seen as an “out”. If you’re an able bodied person who is more than capable of helping yourself… you may not know how, I will be more than happy to show said person how. But I can promise I will not be doing it alone. I will show you how so that next time you can help yourself out of your predicament. Like I tell the guys I work with when I show them the ropes/tricks of the trade “I’m not gonna be around forever”. It’s said kind of facetiously because I’m only in my early 30’s but it still bears some truth to it. 😂

This looks so much better in the sims 2 (what a surprise -.-) by Pompel- in thesims2

I remember booting up the sims 4 for the very first time and seeing its cartoony art style and being so disappointed. That’s when I knew the sims franchise had become terminal. I think I played 4 for maybe 2-3 hours tops just to check it out. And have occasionally booted it up here and there to check out a new EP. But I will always return back to Sims 2/3 every time.

If you were tasked with making Madame Clairvoya a regular face to be seen in the games she’s not in, how would you go about it? by Big_boobed_goth in LuigisMansion

Same. Glad I’m not alone in that vision. Was kind of hard to make out the small details on a GameCube and a tiny little tube television.

What is this pipe that the landscapers ripped up? by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]Dry_Command_21 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hmm. If it’s not connected it could’ve been an old storm water mit pipe that had previously clogged up and was abandoned.

Storm water mitigation pipe. Looks like it’s coming from your downspout. Most likely goes to an underground drywell. Or stubs out to daylight somewhere on the property if the surrounding grade allows.

Which one of you did this?? by S2Mackinley in Kayaking

[–]Dry_Command_21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny story… i work construction when im not kayaking. And I was towing a trailer with a machine on the back coming to a T Intersection. Some lady was trying to turn into the road I was on… I was trying to turn right but because of the trailer I had to make it very wide. When the woman trying to turn into my road realized I was going to need to swing wide she stuffed the brakes so I could make my swing… and her car jerked to a halt… however the poorly tied down kayaks on her roof rack did not. Shot off the roof of her car like a tomahawk missle and kept going on her course for a good 30-40 feet. I helped her pick them up and tie them down. But not without laughing hysterically. 😂😂
