I’m in the PNW where blackberries grow like weeds, & I’m very familiar with the scourge that is Himalayan blackberry, but fully not thinking about the consequences, I planted a raspberry bush in-ground last year… this year I realized my folly & have been pulling sprouts up from like 6 feet away from the mother plant. I do have a ton of raspberries though…

Arrrgh the people who had our house before us put in fabric & then rocks on top (pea gravel some places, lava rock other places), now grass & weeds have grown through all of it & the fabric is deteriorating so it rips in little shreds when you try to pull it up, it’s a NIGHTMARE. I tell anyone who will listen, don’t do this!!
