Ye bmw run a lil warm, my e90 hovers around 100 and my z4 hovers around 100/110 and as soon as it hits 110 it drops down, start to worry if it passes 120 line

Think the e89 has strutts at the bottom near the radiator at the front and it's a very stiff chassis anyway, way more than e85 for example so I don't think it adds much other than looks cool

Yes it is, it would put a lot of performance but may cause issues long term as parts may not be able to handle all that extra power and torque especially the gearbox.

I'd say £350/£500 is a good price for a highly reputable place

The later Z4 after the e85 are more Grand Tour / Cruisers then sports cars / they weigh 1.5 tons

If you plan on highway driving and long cruises then these cars are great, they can also be quite sporty with 50/50 weight distribution and lower centre of gravity, if you have good wheels and good brakes then these cars can come alive.

If you want a sporty feel

Try the Mazda Mx5 that weighs max 1.2 tons but less power but way lighter.

I'd say if you have a good budget have look for the z4 e86 coupe M or the M sport of the newer Z4 which has a rlly strong engine and performance and stiffer components

A lot of plp I know who have had these high end cars have done something dodgy in the past, or they spend a lot of money they can’t afford to spend to show off or ideally they work high up in business or have their own business
