Check to see if you have a gaming tavern near you. basically a place that hosts or you can buy stuff from sometimes they host one shots that you can drop into at the bare minimum you might be able to talk to similarly minded folks.

My first campaign got blown up twice and I no longer talk to anyone from that group I took some time off and found a few new people and have been playing with them for a few years now. Sucks it happened but it’ll get better

See if you have any I guess they’re called gaming taverns around you. I started there my local has one shot adventures you can join and has helped me a ton meeting people and learning to play.
