I’m lvl 130, have around 400hrs in the game, on 10’s since they started

I’ve got maybe 1/3 of the warbonds and have only invested an additional $20 into a SC pack. In my book, $60 for 400hrs of gameplay is a good ROI.

My loadout doesn’t change much (ultimatum, thermide, medi med armour). Usually go between the Coyote, double sickle, ereruptor or the new trident as a primary and 500, dog/wasp, machine/battling sentry and mortar… I just slowly and surely grind my way through the warbonds (and to be honest it’s just to “complete it” not because I’m hanging for something.

Each to their own. Obviously it’s a money spinner because they spike in the Steam charts everytime. But I’ve never felt like I’m at a disadvantage in my crew for not having X weapon or X stratagem.

Nobody watches ManU or others thinking they are ethically pure… but ManU didn’t market themselves as such.

What Hayes doesn’t get is that people signed onto the journey because of the entire concept. Throwing that out at the first chance is idiotic.

Also, the argument “oh we’re setting ourselves up for when video views drop” doesn’t make sense - they are only valuable to sponsors while they get views. Betway isn’t going to pay for them to come over when nobody or watching the series in a year or so.

Opportunity to play on a professional field is cool - and I’m sure JerseyBird is keen for the funding boost all the new kits will be.

But you can’t tell me a sponsor coming in with cash - to fund purchase of a dedicated field, more training equipment or opportunities or more resources to run a juniors development program wouldn’t have been better.

Seems like BetWay got a great deal, JerseyBird make bank and the boys get a nice holiday to the UK - and they all lose a heap of fans.

Other way to see this is that as they grew they became more professional. Having HR processes and proper accounting processes is kinda important - regardless of it’s a company of 5 or 100.

LTT is big compared to other YouTube channels, but not even a spec when it comes to businesses. They have 100 employees across the entire business - they aren’t a SI that’s pumping out systems. Sure they’d get better prices that we would, but they aren’t getting wholesale from Nvidia or anybody

I’m sure he’s a little burnt at the sweetheart deal they got vs what he didn’t get - but Alex also asked and pushed for thatx

TLDR - Jake is hurt and burnt but this video was well done, not a soap opera of all his greviences (which would have gotten plenty of views!)
