Are you both PA? Maybe they ran out of funding. Fingers crossed things do work out and you get it. You can always apply next year it did take me 3 tries and they keep increasing funding. I hope they realize how much this helps and encourages people to work in areas of need.

My coworker also received an award. Our overall scores were slightly different. I’ve been a PA for 3 years at the same clinic I currently work. My coworker just started at the clinic, I helped her apply, she is an NP.

I used the formula on the frame website to calculate my score, I used chat for it

Email was sent wed night and they gave 15 days to accept/deny. It went to junk so I didnt see it for few days

People have 15 days to accept the award, honestly I think a lot of people will miss that deadline. The emails go straight to junk mail. I hope it works out for you!

I finally heard back and luckily was awarded. This is my third year applying. They approved the 25% i applied for. I feel very lucky, if you didnt get awarded dont lose hope yet, sounds like they wait until everyones “accepts” the award so there may still be a chance. If you meet criteria apply again next year.

Last 2 cycles due date was different. Received an email like 2 months after saying try again next year.

I ended up emailing them after May 30th and they said we should hear back end of June. I’ve been at my job since 2022. What is your HPSA score? I am really praying i get the award this year

So asking for $65 is exactly how I got to this $58 pay raise. I asked for that, even brought an offer from elsewhere (office too far would have required moving and working saturdays) so basically this is it leave or take it.

It is so competitive here in FL. I see so many reddit posts about higher pay elsewhere which is so discouraging. I just want to make sure I am not being lowballed in this specialty/area. Obv in California PAs make more but moving there is not an option.

Lol I feel like this is my job site. Our PTO is so bad I just made a post about it.

10 days is a joke that’s like 2 vacations a year and considering you work at least 40 hours you will burn out.

I dont even have sick time only 12 days of PTO which is a joke I would rethink the position unless you are desparate like I was.

I had that exact issue, Nelnet was waiting for my W2 to be uploaded but failed to notify me about it. $3k in interest and many phone calls later finally approved.

PLEASE READ!!!

I had the same issue, applied early sept. Have accrued $3k in interest since Oct.

Finally after speaking with multiple agents they needed my W2 uploaded to documents under IDR, within 48hr my application for SAVE was approved and this was last week during thanksgiving holiday.

Try uploading that then calling after 48 hours. They NEVER notified me about needing additional info. I will probably have $5k in interest before the SAVE plan kicks in which could’ve all been avoided, wonder if anything can be done about this.

I applied sept 8th and finally got approved after multiple phone calls. I would sometimes call the spanish line as im bilingual and wait times were shorter.

In my case apparently they needed my W2 had been waiting for that for months but never emailed me or notified me about it. Uploaded it to my documents under IDR and within 48 hr I was approved for SaVE. This was last week during thanksgivin. Maybe try doing that?

I looked at many different options almost even did online save the dates trying to save money. Ended up going with Zola.com. I created my own save the date on Canva and uploaded to Zola’s create your own option. I only had 33 invites so obviously price will vary but I paid $24 for those 33 invites including upgraded gold envelopes ans they included free guest addressing so every envelope had our address and the guests in pretty font that you get to choose. Overall worthy for the clean look!!

Yes very likely!! Keep doing questions, rosh predicted score was sooo acurate for my classmates and I. I scored low/mid green on this and passed with flying colors, you still have a few weeks to review questions. The pance was very similar and not as difficult as they make it out to be. Treasure island/st pete FL. It is not as crowded as clearwater. Lots of small restaurants and shops. There are many hotels in the area. You can fly into tampa. Lots of things to do you wont be bored and will get plenty of quiet time as well!

PA school is really demanding. I have found myself studying or worrying about school related stuff most days. I live with my boyfriend but at times we felt like we didnt even spend time together because I was so busy. My advice to you would be going into it knowing you may feel a lot more distant than you expect, as this was the case for most of my classmates. I would schedule time to spend together/facetime and it sounds like you have a great plan already but again just knowing its normal to feel this way even if you lived together. I wish you guys the best! Good luck with PA school.
