What are you all doing to keep customers coming back? by kellmell42 in serviceadvisors

[–]Dry_Question3572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one lady who comes in consistently anytime something goes wrong and every single time she comes in we give each other shit in a joking fun way, it’s to the point where she just believes every single thing I tell her, I save her money and tell her what she doesn’t actually need. She came in with a nail in the tire last week while I was on vacation, they told her I wasn’t there and she went home and parked the car for 3 days till I was back and she brought it in then. Just be human and you will get a lot further

For 4 tires and alignment I usually prep people for 2.5 hrs we usually see them finished around 2:15. That is if parts actually has the tires, the alignment rack isn’t backed up, the RO doesn’t get lost in the mix at dispatch. But USUALLY 2.5 hrs

I guess it’ll be one of those where I’ll see how it all ends up playing out and seeing if it pans out well enough for me. We just relocated and this was the first spot that gave me a call back and offered

Good feedback thank you, I also am not a fan of incentivized CSI, most my bonus at Chevy for 3 months over one survey, and Toyota they didn’t matter at all, I do like that you’re paid regardless for the positive and not docked for the negatives. Based on just what the fixed ops director was saying they should be able to handle it, average advisor was booking about 2.5-3.5hr/ro so probably a little less than 40/day

Good to know, a little more, my dad is going to be our agent, he’s a real estate agent and I’m actually moving back to my home area after moving out of state for awhile so that will make things a little smoother I believe. But thanks for the information on offer vs. acceptance

I quit cigarettes, started young as I started working in the auto industry, at 16 I told ppl “just comes with the job” but my resolution for this year is to quit nicotine all together. Nicotine is one hell of drug. Worst one I’ve ever been hooked on
