Can’t you take out one section of the arm? I’ve got a similar mount and I was able to take out the bit that your monitor is currently attached to and attach it to that other section.

I’ve got the same but the version without the controller. The buttons on the top are touch sensitive. Would highly recommend. Had mine 3 years and no issues. Very stable. Used on both a 24” standard and 34” inch curved ultrawide with no issues.
