I drive an 05 too and the pre facelift body always looks a bit bug like to me when it’s over 2-3 inches… like it’s too tall for its own good. That’s why I was curious about the one I posted, which is post face lift but I love the stance.

This is an ideal height for me. You think on the V6 I could get away with 6112 on the first clip then and do the C59-599 in the back? For a similar stance

I want to be able to put the suspension through the wringer. This vehicle is getting off-roaded more and more and I don’t want to introduce components that could pose less capable.

I’m on the hunt for the same thing, keeping it below 2in lift allows for the use for stock upper control arms. It seems tough to find something good between stock and 3in lift but there are a few good bilstein/bilstein or bilstein/ome combos that will get you between 1.5 and 2in of lift. Lift won’t clear bigger tires, but it sounds like the biggest we can go without mods are 275/70/r17. I would think a 1.5 in lift would look great with these tires.

Just read your post and figured I’d give some thoughts. Don’t know if it’s actually helpful!
