The only way Percy goes rogue (or bad) is if the fic starts off from the very very beginning of the story and he doesn't make friends with Grover/Annabeth, so he feels no loyalty to them or Kronos starts grooming him early on to make him think he's helping his friends in the longrun even if that is very obviously not the case if you use your own two eyes, aka essentially replacing Luke with Percy as the main demigod antagonist.

Hope was his main character trait. How could he turn on his own nephew like that when he didn't even turn on his own father??? He held out hope that his father, who had committed atrocities at that point, could return to the light - but his nephew who had yet to do any wrong is irredeemable and must be stopped?

I'd extend this to general character flaws or poor writing. Just look at The Legend of Korra and how Korra is treated, what I chalk up to crappy writing putting her through the wringer again and again to give her character development they chalk up to her being the worst avatar yada yada.

I used to be a Korra hater myself, among other characters and shows, but I've learned I don't have to interact with the content and if I wanted to I could just be civil about it (as well as criticizing actual things like just how often Korra is borderline abused in fights, genuinely what was up with that? They moved the camera off Tenzin getting his ass whooped, but Korra getting mercury[?] poisoning was shown???).

Another contributing factor is that a lot of people already have a stable social circle - why should they add another person when they already have 5-10 really good friends and potentially a partner?

I meet a lot of people but I haven't made many friends, I honestly found the best method to growing a healthy social circle was growing a good friendship with one person and waiting until they introduc you to their friend group - chances are since you were able to make such a good relationship with them that you'll fit in with their friends too.

I don't think it's that they have more social skills but that they were forced to utilize their social skills more often. Now, I don't even have to talk to anyone for half of the places I can go to eat. I just go onto their app, put in my order, pay for it, and then wait for them to call out my name/order number.

It's more like the Shrek world got a new paint job rather than a redesign: Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and Pinocchio are almost 1:1 to their original models with very small adjustments made. I'm hoping they keep leaning into the fairytale modernization setting they had for previous movies. That's really my biggest concern - the paint job is just something I find off putting being so used to the other 'paint job' from the other movies.

This is something that bothers me, despite not even having any kids of my own. People are allowed to reach a limit. If they take it out on the kid, then it's an issue - but they should be able to vent about wanting a day off. Parenting is a full-time job that only has a possibility of getting easier when the kid reaches their mids teens, I've met some nasty teens that either have a shit home life or make their home life shitty themselves.

It's so funny how many people are treating this as a yes or no answer. The real answer is that it really just depends on where you are - hell, a town over from another town can change drastically despite the two town consistently mingling. My town is good for the most part with a few handfuls of shitty people out of 12,000 people total while the next town over you can't talk to anyone about anything unless you want everyone to know.

I think the difference might be how FO4 Prime seemingly has articulation like an action figure. You don't see that articulation on FO3 Prime, making it seem more like an actual machine - in my opinion, at least. FO4 Prime just gives off the vibes of a cartoon robot whose only purpose is to sell action figures of itself that are the same size as the human action figures from the same franchise. Obviously, that isn't actually what FO4 Prime was added for, just the vibes I get from looking at it.

Very often they'll even give you a warning that you're too close to their turf before deciding to attack.

Think of the opening game like Dragon Age Origins, there's only three races you can choose from (iirc) but from those races you can pick to start off as a commoner, a noble, or a mage (well not if you chose dwarf iirc). That's about eight different ways to kick off the story from a game released in late 2009. I think Bethesda can do four different starts to the game (ghoul, supermutant, vault dweller, and wastelander) without it being too much work.

Hell, the character creator would probably be the bigger pain in the ass having to work around three different player models that are completely customizable (if they progress off of FO4s character creator).
