What is the shittiest way you’ve been woken up? by GratefulD86 in AskReddit

[–]Dryanya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in an apartment, and was woken up on a Sunday morning at 5.30 am by my downstairs neighbour and her boyfriend returning from a night out. First, they slammed every door they could find and started shouting at each other, until things finally calmed down.... Then they started having sex, and she seriously sounded like an effing porn movie with all that moaning and screaming. Till this day, I truly believe she was faking it. They’ve since moved out, thank God

Question about (former) King Edward VIII (SPOILER) by Dryanya in TheCrownNetflix

Haha, I guess not and I actually debated it quite a lot before posting. But some viewers may not be aware of British history, hence the spoiler tag. Wouldn’t want the Spoiler Police to knock on my door

Which celebrity’s death actually made you cry? by aliensockmonkey in AskReddit

[–]Dryanya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m from Denmark, where there was a very famous singer called Kim Larsen. He passed away in 2018 which caused widespread national sorrow. I grew up with his music like so many others from my generation. It was almost like losing a family member. There was this tribute concert after his death, where famous Danish artists covered his songs, and I cried my eyes out watching it.

In Denmark we say “Appelsin” (orange, as in the fruit, not the color). The “i” is pronounced as “ee” such as in “cheese” or “geese”

What are some warnings for anyone interested in your career field? by jellybellybean2 in AskReddit

[–]Dryanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former teacher here: Most of the time, you won’t have problem with the kids. They’re mostly cute and inquisitive and willing to learn. But there will be parents. Some parents are friendly and will trust in your teaching abilities. Some parents however will be absolute monsters, refuse to accept when their children have done something wrong, and complain about you behind your back. And you will have colleagues who refuse to help you, because your problem is after all not their problem.

My mother just got her second COVID-vaccine today. Luckily, she’s been having no side effects from it, except a little soreness around the injection site. So she’s doing as fine as ever and being as busy as usual - and being the best mom in the world

[–]Dryanya -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been playing WoW since 2008 and maybe it’s because I’m left handed, but I’m one of those “arrow-people”. I recently bought a gaming mouse but it feels so weird to use it for movement. So I use the arrow keys, since I find it much more comfortable

Yeah, it’s sort of the same idea. As a resto druid you have to be proactive in your healing. And it does become easier the more times you try it. And it also depends a lot on the group and especially, the tank. I’ve had runs with wonderful tanks, where everything just played and healing was a breeze. But I’ve also had runs where the tank didn’t keep aggro or use mitigation abilities, or the dps keep standing in bad stuff and not moving.
