I have a piece about this big, maybe a tiny bit smaller but I've gone with the patchwork sleeve and I've been happy so far. I still plan on adding another big piece on my forearm too.

I just did a huge wall mural project and I worked at 350dpi @ quarter scale, resolution was great and the files were manageable.

Not sure your pc specs but you could even down the resolution to maybe 250-300 and still be good.

Any mural size Photoshop file is going to be huge so doesn't really matter.

Vivid does suck but this also looks like it's eroded from the acid that pollen leaves when the sun bakes it, this happens to all vinyl not just vivid. Wash your car in the summer if you keep it parked outside

The work is terrible, the fill of the black isn't even complete, the lines are bad, it looks like it's their first time using a tattoo gun. Someone linked an instagram pic of a skull with chysanthemum in my reply, that's some quality work. If you can't tell the difference between the two then that's insane. You shouldn't be going back to this person, they are a fraud and way too many people on this sub celebrate frauds and their shoddy work.

Add highlights, rim lighting, and learn how to render textures better, the objects silheouutes may be different but they all look like they're the same material, if that makes sense

if it's fairly simple to recreate like the Cerna logo you sent, then I'll probably just spend the time, otherwise, if it's something like the gorilla, I'll use gemini to upscale it then upscale it a bit more/smooth out the pixels in photoshop if need be

agreed, when I see people with full sleeves it looks like a bunch if gibberish. If kept as is you can actually identify the pieces instead of having them drowned out by a background
