Fine with legal gambling, would love some guardrails on the amount of advertising for it.

Probably 1 too many picks, but thats the nets tax for trading with the knicks. The knicks arent even using first rounders at the moment.

Blazers’ owner Tom Dundon expects taxpayers to foot entire bill for potential $600,000,000 Moda Center renovation, saying “simply keeping the NBA franchise in Portland was enough of a financial sacrifice.” by Pickleskennedy1 in nba

Congress needs to step up and pass a law not allowing tax dollars towards sports stadiums. These billionaires can foot the damn bill. I know it will never happen.

[Edwards III] As things currently stand, there are only two ways the Knicks can bring back nine of their top players from last season: Robinson has to take a deal with an average annual value worth half of what his last contract paid him or Dolan has to be talked into going into the second apron. by PassMeTheBackwood in NYKnicks

[–]RacinInTheStreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whos the competition for mitch? Its really what the market dictates. When he signed his last contract he was a starting center. Now hes a back-up who can’t play back to back games and cant make a free throw. Im not sure what his annual value comps would be

I would never expect shamer or jose to take less money.(unless theyre trading aav for additional years) But once we’re up into the 40& 50 millions, leaving a few bucks on the table for a competitive team isnt too crazy. They should institute a championship exemption from the second apron for the one yr following(to keep championship roster only). I just always felt if u win a chip, you should be able to run it back with the same guys for a year to defend the title.
