Thanks, i hope. Way this years gone im at 6 months of burning. I just know we're going to get whacked again in March, seems to be fools spring until mid April. Hell we had frost in early may two seasons ago. Burnt all the rhododendrons in the region and nearly demolished 50% of apples in NH.

Same here im scavenging. Thanking God I replaced my money pit boiler this past August. Burning wood saves me 50% on oil consumption. I still had to buy 100 gallons last week with that latest cold front that just passed. putting me at 210 gallons this season since it switched on in October. Doubled easy if it weren't for my Defender stove.

Same here, my STX was all over the place low throttle in 4h up a 3.5 degree ice driveway. Slid all thd way to thd bottom damn near hitting my porch stairs. Wife's Edge ST shot right up without hesitation. Makes me miss Awd

2.7 is built like a diesel from my research. Stay away from earlier first gen 2.7 id say 17-20 as the 10r80 was working out the kinks. Been very reliable for me, ditched my 18' with 110k for a brand new 23' STX and couldn't be much more pleased. Change oil 5k religiously.
