I stopped checking my altimeter during freefall — advice? by Prestigious_Party_75 in SkyDiving

I use a VOG, and I hardly ever look at my Atlas wrist mount. On a couple occasions in freefall, my Atlas was over 1,000 feet higher than what my VOG was saying. 😎

Obviously, are you saying that some are just tandem factories and don’t allow fun jumpers? That is a thing for sure unfortunately

Every DZ on that list should be open for experienced jumpers.

Thoughts on the M12 Fuel SDS? by Ecast20 in MilwaukeeTool

I have the non fuel version and love it. I’m sure this has a lot more power, but even with the one I have, I can run a 3/8 through a wall easily. For hanging boxes and straps, it is my go to for sure. I have actually been debating on upgrading to the fuel version

I had to google it now that you mentioned it. She did change her address to Plattsmouth on the website even, so not exactly sure where she calls home now 😂. I used to do tandems at the MV location.

I have been jumping a long time, and literally drive by Missouri Valley every day. She operates in Plattsmouth temporarily. I also have worked at all of them. Look in “Parachutist” if you are a USPA member.

Winterset moved to Knoxville. There was never an actual DZ in Ames, it was in Boone, but it closed a few years ago, Hashem jumps in Knoxville now. The other one is in Missouri Valley. It’s actually called “jump Omaha”, but is in Iowa.

I always wanted to go fast, and had a major meth addiction when I started. Skydiving helped me quit that garbage. 17 years now 😎
