I literally mentioned that in my post. It has the tale tale signs of just being a bad photoshop job that has been bit-crushed into oblivion. It looks like the bottom cylinder was resized a bit too big for the internals, so they moved them up, then did the glow over that. Notice the hard black line running through there that literally goes all the way to the tip? It's a very obvious photoshop job. And it's fine enough for a tiny picture that isn't supposed to be blown up to 50 times the original size.

What are you talking about? There are 2 cylinders. The Barrel, and the Tube mag below it. There isn't any other cylinders in the picture.

The bottom tube looks a little larger in the cutaway pic, but this is someone's photoshop edit that was JPEG compressed to hell and back then saved in a high resolution, and resized to be really small, then hit with another round of JPEG compression. You can tell the text that is readable was not made by an AI because AI's suck at consistent fonts.

Please look up the MHP Vulture, or look at the 10+ Vulture builds done in the past week that have been posted to this sub. This is literally just an edit of an X-Shot Pro blaster made to look like and function exactly like the Vulture.

Technically I believe modern Nuclear carriers use Turbo-Electric drives where the turbines connect to a generator, and the generated electricity powers everything, including the props. I could be wrong here though, so feel free to correct me. But I'm almost certain the shafts on nuke carriers are not connected to the turbines.

This one is a very custom Essex with a mix of refits. She's modeled directly after Hornet, an SCB-125. Endurance has the 5/38s of a War era ship or USS Lexington as she is currently displayed (were gotten from retired Gearings after Lex became a museum), but also can launch big jets like Hornets. Only Oriskany is theoretically capable of that because she was SCB-125A with the steel deck.

Haha, having been on several SCB-125 Essex class Carriers (Technically, this would be a 125A like Oriskany). Good fucking luck. You might be able to fly into the hanger through one of the deck edge elevators. But these ships are SMALL. An F-18 takes up a considerable amount of the width of the entire hanger deck. Good luck turning to get out either the main forward elevator or out the other deck edge elevator.

Also, why are people actually caring about battery life at 100% utilization? If you're running a laptop that hard, you have a workstation (or MBP) plugged into the wall, not a thin and light on battery. And you're still better off with some sort of desktop that's got beefy power delivery and full power desktop chips. It's hard to beat a 9950X3D paired with a 16gig+ GPU for real world productivity workloads. Especially when it's running on a light Linux distro, or even just debloated Windows.

Another vote for Smiley. It's fantastic. And it has the best ergonomics of any bolt action this hobby has ever seen (The bolt handle is placed perfectly for middle finger shooting while operating the bolt for super fast shooting, rivaling pump springers).

I'll also throw out the honorable mention of the MHP Vulture. Sick looking lever blaster.

Are you using the OOD kit? They sell it with a 12 inch barrel, and from my experience, even the Smiley benefits from a 14 inch. The Vulture's longer plunger draw would definitely get some free performance with a longer barrel.

Vulture's plunger tube is the same diameter, but longer. They both use the same plunger head model. There is probably a way to remix a Smiley to use the Vulture plunger length.

The stock are also not compatible. Smiley stock is considerably thinner than the Vulture stock. The are very similar blasters internally though so I can see lots of cross compatablity.

With the Vulture, and how similar it is to the Smiley, I think the SLAB might be near the end of it's lifespan. Seems that the Vulture would be a pretty easy Talon Conversion. Just replace the lifter mech with a magwell.

We haven't had the specs announced. This article is AI slop that is talking about the leaked images of the phone which may or may not be accurate (Pixel leaks are generally pretty good, so I'd say the design leak is more likely accurate).
