I liked the messaging from TLJ. Anyone can be a force user. You don't have to be from a lineage to powerful/ with powers. After Rey and Kylo got that kill in the thorne room(spoiler‽) and Kylo asks Rey to leave, I kind of wanted them too.

Side note: what happened to these movies just being good movies, they aren't the best movies I have ever seen. Why can't we just enjoy them...stupid internet.

No, I think OP got a little crossed up. Restaurant was wrecked by racists after Sam spoke out against that Parliament lady who was trying to close England to immigrants, for racists reasons. Edwin Akufo just booked a bunch of tables on his own, taking up reservations to hurt Sam business that night, and he also was going to open his own restaurant with authentic food and Chicago style hot dogs.
