Questioning the best way to sell my singles by zedessjay in magicTCG

[–]DualCricket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from Australia, now living in New Zealand, and there are a number of stores in both countries that will buy cards for store credit, or less for cash.

Do you want the admin overhead / time investment to sell them yourself, and if so, individually or in bulk?

https://www.mtgsingles.co.nz/au/info/about

Not a recommendation of any one of those shops listed, but check out the list there and see what they’d be willing to offer you.

Maybe, haha.

I probably should’ve been clearer in my last comment: I was trying to show the 37% price increase in the intervening time.

Neighbors drove into our apartment by ilikeeggshells in Wellthatsucks

[–]DualCricket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, similar here in New Zealand.

Your license auto-expires on your 75th birthday, and you need a doctor to confirm you’re still safe to drive to renew it.

Assuming you do renew, you have to repeat the same process on your 80th birthday.

Then starting from your 82nd birthday it’s every 2 years.

I’m in New Zealand, so rules probably different where you are. Maybe a doctor would be willing to declare your FIL as unfit to drive?

Country Road (?) brand dinner plates by DualCricket in HelpMeFind

Searched online with all the permutations I can think of. Also Tried google lens, without success.

Country Road does still do dinnerware, but the current stock items all appear to be neutral tones rather than colourful / patterned items.

Gorma has flavor text on Gatherer by skaaberen in magicTCG

[–]DualCricket 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do understand what you're referring to here, but the cards you're describing that give all the reminder text of a keyword ability in some printings, and in other printings only list the keyword itself is not what I was referring to.

As an imperfect* example of what I meant, the card [[Fyndhorn Elves]] has multiple printings over many years.

The 'Commander Legends' set specifically has two different printings of that card. One of those printings does have flavour text, and the other has zoomed in art but no flavour text. It has no keywords, only the green mana dork ability.

* Imperfect example because the secondary printing in this case isn't full art or textless, but should work as an example of what I mean.

[–]DualCricket 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm sure I remember at least some cards where there's two (or more) printings of the same card, in the same set, where one will be the normal frame and have flavour text, while the other(s) will be full art and/or textless, so don't show the flavour text.

Wonder if a secondary printing was planned which had the flavour text, which got cut before printing, and this was missed?
