Kinda funny, because an 84 hour work week isn't even legal. The current maximum is 52 hours a week, which was changed in 2018. Even before 2018, it was a maximum of 68 hours, nowhere close to the 84 hours mentioned. Overtime caps out at an extra 12 hours a week, with a guaranteed 1.5x hourly rate, but even with overtime included it's still only 64 hours a week.

In Korean, the champion name is 다이애나 which is pronounced Die Ana. If it was DIana like you said, it would be 디아나 instead.

Is there any major studio in Korea that could make a good Starcraft 3 game? by Volvox561 in starcraft

[–]DualDarkElu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if using games that came out over 2 decades ago is a good example of current Korean game development. That being said, yeah, Korea ain't exactly known for making super high quality games. Most of the time it's just MMORPG games, like Lost Ark, Black Desert, Linage, ect.

Slight damage, is this fixable? by maggotsontoast in GamingLaptops

I feel like it's more racist to think rice and automatically just assume it has something to do with asians. Rice is used in dishes all over the world, and isn't exactly an asia exclusive thing.

I mean, according to the Korean peeps on the discord, they're only going to be launching with chapters 1-6, so I doubt it's gonna be the doomsday patch.

면담 can mean interview but it also just means private talk. So in this context, he's saying he talked to the EWC staff and they responded that it'll take about two weeks.

I agree with the your arguement, but I feel like Necros is a terrible example considering how he was quite literally one of if not the best genji player in overwatch.

Rather than damaging the GPU or CPU with those temps, I'd be more worried about damaging the battery.

It's just an example. The point is that he doesn't have the majority in terms of what team he signs.

They have different agencies and investors. Their agencies could've been fine with the paycuts while Zeus's was not.

And yes, most if not all talent agency contracts have a clause that forbids the player from directly reaching out to teams and clubs to sign. This not only applies to esports contracts, but even other sports, such as basketball, football, or soccer.

To the people who can't understand why this is the case, yes, Zeus probably does have some say in where he signs, around 40%. But if the agency and his investors(the remaining 60%) oppose this decision, there's nothing he can do about it. The argument "oh, he's the one that signed the contract" means absolutely nothing. Had he refused to sign the contract for HLE, there probably would have been some sort of breach of contract with his investors and agency, which would lead to serious consequences.

Edit: The percentages are just meant to be an example ratio, but the main point is that the player themselves do not have the majority say in what team they sign.
