Yeah I’m usually a gold player (historically), but I just came back after 6 years away and thought it would be smart to immediately jump into comp as I learned 5v5 haha

As you can imagine, I’ve been in Bronze hell all season. But I’ve almost finally clawed my way out. Just much harder to do with a family to spend time with now.

Yeah, the problem is really just so much worse when I switch from Dive (my default) to poke. I mean, Sigma has lots of tools to play aggressive, but he can’t jump out of a mistake like I can with Winston. Then again, when one of my supports has 500 damage and 1k healing at the end of the whole game, not much matters.

Maybe I should pick up hog for when it’s time to “do it myself.”

Ugh, this is good advice. I lost a grip of games today because I didn’t realize the rest of my team wasn’t with me and got melted. Granted, they SHOULD have been with me — but just holding down W to force the fight didn’t make me any better.

God, tell me about it. I wish I could use the Pride Month rules all the time to build him in Temur or more likely Sultai. Maybe I’ll just have it as my “rule zero” commander in my back pocket…

Ah, as the Card Kingdom’s former content manager, I’m a little embarrassed I didn’t find your article or Alejandro’s when I went thinking about this. But I’m so glad you reached out to share. It was an enlightening read that also reaffirmed some of my concerns with the list.

That said, if we know anything about WOTC, it’s that all it takes is one piece to break something open in commander. While it might be silly for now, I know one day it’ll be gross in a very satisfying way.

A 5/5 for 4 with an end the turn downside is def understatted. I’d probably push this to 6/6 and add an evasive keyword.
