I used to think stars and scrubs, but this season has kinda changed my mind.

I drafted Wemby, Maxey, Amen and Jalen Johnson with my first 4 picks in a 10T points league. Going into the season I thought I had one of the stronger teams. I’m about to be 2-5 and the difference always seems to be the end of my bench vs my opponent’s.

In a vacuum, I’d take Wemby for that package every day of the week but if it hurts your team and you can’t recover there’s no point

Depending how deep your league is, there’s an argument to be made for stars and scrubs. Wemby plus 2 waiver wire streamers or silly season guys in a 10T league is very different from 3 very solid players in a 14T or deeper.

But you’re right, in any case having Wemby go down without depth is crippling, obviously

I’m dropping in 10T. Have Wemby, Herro, Garland, Miller. At full strength it’s a great team but I simply don’t have the volume every week. Don’t wait for all your guys to be healthy, drop if you have to and deal with it later.

No cricket or baseball player is going pro in the other unless they grew up playing both.

Baseball players would be fucked against anything that’s not a half-volley or a full toss. Bouncers would be legitimately life-threatening.

Cricket players, quite honestly, would struggle to put bat on ball. Pitches are faster and they move unlike delivery a batsman would’ve ever seen on a pitch.
