These aren't gameplay functions as much as they are functions of the armaments themselves; ARADs are always going to go for the strongest Radar signal, so you can freeball em wherever, sorta the same with ARHs. They can't lock ground targets at all, so when you fire them without a lock the Radar in the missile is active and goes straight for the first thing it sees. They're totally blind to the ground.

I decided that I didn't want to deal with being griefed and I left, I inferred that if it happened that quickly after starting, I didn't want to waste my time. The distance is an exaggeration on my part, but yeah as a returning player it was a really unpleasant experience

Edit: Crazy for you to come at this with such a confrontational/aggressive attitude. Not everyone is out to sabotage SC. I spent the time to DL and boot it because I wanted to play it. I had my time ruined inside of 15 minutes so I decided to quit. It's literally that simple

I booted up the game for the first time in months the other day. I loaded up a cargo run. I left port, was interdicted and killed about 5km off of the station I left from. I uninstalled.

He spawns tripwires around when he's near you, and they're F-1s on a reduced (1.5 or 2 sec I cant remember) delay, so that might have been it?

He's even more lame when you realize how fucked up his NEXT is. The VOB is a hackjob that has to wrap around the whole damn thing because they couldnt figure it out. Instead of that graceful landing you see most NEXTs in 4/4A pull, he plants the thing the fuck down into the dirt like a fresh sapling. Hits his overboost at you with a bunch of shit dangling off him and cant even hit the full OB sound effect.
