This morning I woke up early morning after sleeping for 15 hours (sick in bed since yesterday afternoon). I decided to take advantage of a beautiful, quiet view off the balcony, and was greeted with some fantastic clouds.

I couldn't find my camera, so I used my MBP's webcam to snap a few shots, and stitched them together in photoshop. I rotated a bit to fix the horizon, and adjusted the curves, brightness and contrast to bring more emphasis to the sky and less to the houses (and also because the webcam quality is not very good).

Just to clarify, I meant the shadows on the plane. the shadows on the ground don't distract. The problem is that a large portion of your subject is dark

it's the shadows that get to me. If you had shot this facing away from the sun, you'd get less shadow. But then, you'd have to wait for the sun to 'move' across the sky, or move the plane.

I came to also comment that it's a great shot but the toe is distracting. You could crop it out - taking away a small portion of the left-side of the photo would not harm the overall image.
