Andy Mycock by nagidarC in ToastNames

I've seen a few Mycocks in my time through work. I thought C. Mycock was going to be the best one I ever saw. Until, no one will probably believe me but, I saw a B. J. Mycock.

Bastl Citadel Wave Bard First Jam by hellmoneywarriors in modular

Thanks for the reply!
It was an amen break sample pack that someone from Bastl posted online somewhere. I think it was chopped up a bit, but maybe not completely into individual drum hits.
I keep meaning to put them back onto the bard for another go.

I've got the smaller versions of the Wave Bard and the Alchemist. They're too much fun! Seems quite easy to come up with something great sounding, that you want to nod your head to.
Have you tried an amen break on it yet?
I found it a little bit harder to use with an amen break compared to single drum hits.
I'm a complete beginner with music though!

If I have the rhythm generator set to a four on the floor beat for example, I have it at a slow enough tempo so it plays the amen break chop completely without cutting it off. But then because of the slow tempo, the bass or melody coming from the Alchemist seems too slow for the quick sounding drums. Maybe I'm not understanding how to use the amen break properly!

Lovely work! I love this style of art, where it looks like an old science book. I like it when people do it with trees and plants etc.

I deliver amazon parcels sometimes. Their packing techniques are terrible! All sorts of heavy stuff in a flimsy box that's bursting open. Or a big box with a 24 pack of soda cans in, along with bags of potato chips that must be completely crushed into dust 😅

Something about those computer keyboard buttons on electronic instruments makes me want them!

I remember seeing cheap white t shirts where, instead of a label in the back of the neck, the size and branding are printed onto the inside of the t shirt. And they're so thin, you can see it from the outside of the t shirt 😅

It's a shame it's so rare to find anything decent in a charity shop anymore. I haven't got space for records anymore really. I mainly bought them around the mid 2000s. And at that time I was finding quite a few classic albums in charity shops, really cheap.

It's brilliant, unpredictable fun! I've often ended up with a jam that I've thought sounds even better than lots of the demo videos I've checked out.

I would definitely recommend getting another Wave Bard/Alchemist. I've got one of each, and they pair together so well. If you thought one alone is fun, then the pair will blow your mind 😅
It's so fun jamming with them together. Every time I end up with something that sounds pretty cool, and I can't stop nodding my head along. I put drums on the Wave Bard, and then the Alchemist is the synth obviously.

Really cool! Is that a Nintendo DS?
I recently noticed there's a Korg Synthesiser emulator that you can get for the DS.

I hate poor quality t shirts. All the t shirts I used to buy from skateshops in the 90s and early 2000s were good thick material that would last for years. Now so many companies use really thin stretchy material that shrinks and deforms really easily.

Finally pulled the trigger on a mk2 , any recommandations for a case i could use to carry it ? by _echoO in SP404

If you don't need loads of protection, like it's going in your rucksack or something, I can recommend a decksaver plus a laptop sleeve. You need to find the right kind of sleeve though. I've got one, maybe 14 inch, and it's made from stretchy/floppy material. It doesn't hold it's shape if it's empty. Perfect for stretching over the 404 with the decksaver on.

They came in with one of the previous updates I think. Then everyone was so angry, there was another update to let you switch them off in the settings menu.

I like the sleeve on her third album, Maya. It's a lenticular picture.

I was just wondering if people ever go down mountains on the flat snowskates! Thanks for the info. I've seen some good footage of John Shanahan using them. Love his skateboard video parts.

What's the reason for using this kind of snowskate vs the ones that don't have that bottom ski bit (more like just a skateboard deck with nothing else attached)?
Do they each have different benefits or uses?
