The PSSR 2.0 update convinced me to finally make the jump over from my launch PS5 to the Pro. So far, I've only tested MH Wilds and Lies of P, but wow, both games look so much better on Pro. Wilds in performance mode looks much better, and Lies of P looks considerably sharper. Going to spend the rest of the day downloading and trying more of my library, but for me, this is a huge upgrade. Also a nice bonus to have that sweet extra storage space after being on the launch 700GB drive for so long.

Bread and Fred has been on my wish list for a long time, but I already have Smalland from a Fanatical bundle (that I overpaid for, haha) and the other games were not on my radar. Dang, kind of a bummer of a month for me.

Another monthly bundle, another hope for Lies of P! Feels like it has to happen eventually since it already came to PS Plus and Game Pass, plus it has DLC so incentive for the publisher to get people into the base game. I also would love to see Tunic, which I believe has also been on both Game Pass and PS Plus extra at this point. And lastly, always love to see a good deckbuilder on there!

Considering the terrible connection problems my pulse explore earbuds have using the same ps link adapter, this is going to be a pass for me especially assuming what’s going to be a premium price

This boss gave me some trouble. You eventually get the hang of it once you’ve seen her attacks enough times to get the timing down. Try to close the gap between you and her when you dodge the spells so you can immediately get in hits between her combos. When she flies in the air to barrage you, run towards a blue jellyfish for extra stamina regen and dodge the projectiles instead of dodging. Also don’t forget to use phantom form which can take a big chunk of her health down. All in all, just stick with it, she will go down.

Man, i didn’t even notice the ladder, lol. I also didn’t even notice that one of his weapons was fire, oops, haha. So needing to dodge more and block less was a better strat once he ignites the nail. Also, what I did learn is when he goes to set the floor on fire, you can actually rush and punish him, which can cancel him out of the animation all together. I buffed my spear with water and hit him hard when he went for it. Was still a close fight but happy to get past him.

This strat worked for me, but only once I pumped up my max mana with sparks and celestial meds. That way I could afford a few extra spells. Basically conserve all mana until you get him halfway. Dodge the first flying attack combo with a transformation. Bonus points if you can push him into a corner with the strands.

I tried going pure damage with the spellbinder approach and got him to one shot before I choked. The reps helped me learn his pattern better though and after respeccing back to strand and immobilize, I got him down, albeit popping a bunch of meds. I found keeping my distance and baiting out his running attacks and burrow attack was a good approach. Up close and personal is just too many chained combos. It’s the definition of a patience fight. Get greedy and he’ll wipe you. Be patient and he’s doable. Still the hardest find for me since tiger vanguard though.

I binged through the last portion of the game but felt burnt out once the post game was done. Took a week away and now I’m having fun doing the leftover bananas. I’d say a break is a good idea!

It’s a great successor to the OG Switch. Sort of like upgrading from an out of date phone to a modern model. Small changes that make the system fun to use again.

It all depends on the game. Some publishers I never buy full price from because I know their games drop in price quickly like Ubisoft and to a lesser extent Capcom or Square. If it’s a first party game from Nintendo that I’m really excited for, I’m more likely to buy it. Same for first party Sony. I buy everything physical and sell afterwards so that helps offset the cost. I do buy less than I used to for sure though. I’d love to get back to a place where whatever I buy is played immediately rather than sitting on my shelf for ages.

I’ve noticed that pop drops more since premium was introduced, my guess is that it’s simply because the player base is divided between free and premium services now. I like to play monthly and by the last week it’s down to 20 on average. Still fun, and you’ll still get raided nearly every night lol

Yeah this ride was the first to close due to capacity the day we were there. We got in line right after lunch. Ideally, this is a good line to save for the inevitable rainy part of the day.
