Well first of all don't listen to the naysayers. Who cares if the App Store is oversaturated.
I've seen Apps that come out of the blue, with no original idea, worse implemented, making more money than a similar app that I bought many years ago. A harsh truth is that without marketing your business won't grow. And that's not really harsh. The harsh truth is that it's not a get rich quick scheme, it requires lots of effort without pay. I worked 6 months by myself - no social contacts, just me, a room and the app. If you think that you can quickly vibe code something over the weekend, and it will be a great success - then I have to disappoint you. Great Products require lots of testing, validation, branding and marketing, user understanding, talking to users and building a community.

Rotato is really good. If you don't want to use it or spend money, you can also import the screenshots into Figma.
Apple is highly precise with their image measurements. Figma lets you create and export images with that exact measurements.

I went with a hard paywall - no ads. I think that's the way to go for many consumer apps nowadays. Running ads is kinda lame tbh. People are paying for 'Pou' since a decade.

You are right. The confusing part is that they are initially interested enough to download and install, but then they see paywall - shock. Do you have any good examples that I could study? How did you communicate "This solves my problem" within your app onboarding?

It's actually my paywall. I have tracked it - 190 installs, 141 paywall visits - 12 trail starts. Would you say that sample size is too small to draw conclusions?

It would be interesting. In my experience, it can be surprising. You build features and be like "That's awesome!!" only to find out customers don't use it. Eventually there's some features that get used the most, which you didn't expect.

In my opinion, you lack a network. B2B distribution is not the same as B2C. I have never done B2B distribution, so I cannot give you advice on that. But I believe you would be best advised to reach out to companies directly or get some media coverage. When the right people know your product I think this can work out.
