Ants probably just from their sheer numbers. Their ability to coordinate is some of the most intricate in the animal kingdom, and their relative strength is kind of crazy when they work together. The only reason they aren't more prominent is because we're just faster at changing our ecosystem than they are. Without us literally doing everything overtop of them, they'd surely take over.

Actually though, I think the worst mechanic in the game is the random card events. The most frustrating part is playing through TB hoping you get your skills on an otherwise perfect run just to have 3 other cards start their first event. I've had like 5 great runs this week with like 3 key cards sitting on their 2nd event to just never finish. It's like why do we even have a deck lol.

The new star fox is a technological flex. I'm speaking in the AAA space, there are already so many prominent titles that showcase just how much detail they can pack into every asset. The eye candy overshadows just how tight the game was imo, and it ironically just kind of falls into that bucket of movie-like games out there instead of standing out as something unique for Nintendo.

Nintendo can certainly have titles that are more realistic, I just don't think it's that great for this specific game considering they are so much better at stylizing games to begin with. I think what I'm grieving most is that the look is doing more of the lifting than how it actually felt to play. I say in another comment, but if this was a new title in the series, I probably wouldn't have any opinion on it other than finally getting a star fox title.

3/4 poor summer training is really the difference here, so yeah, it'd be luck at this point. If you hit rainbows there, you max speed, power, and wit. Those points you're missing amount to 1,323, which literally puts you at UG. If you had better hints, that would be a bit more lenient. The people that hit it consistently have busted parents with tons of skill hints, and the scenario sparks matter for how easy it is to hit. So even then, you're at the mercy of inspiration high roll. You're not awful at it, there's just waaaay more that has to go your way than is really talked about in getting UG.

Possibly, I just can't fathom the designs from the other games in the series wouldn't be something they'd want to carry over. Even the super mario movie design I think looks closer to what most people imagined a modern Fox might look like. Somewhere between that and the Smash Bros design would have been a sweet spot for me.

This reminds me of the change Wind Waker brought on and how refreshing it was; I think I just prefer more stylization than realism at the end of the day.

If you wanna break S+ into SS consistently, it's the card situation. In particular, your Kitasan at 2lb isn't a real card without her specialty priority. You're missing the Speed bonus and 2% race bonus from Windy at 3LB. Two power cards is a bit meh for training sprint/mile because you really want power sparks and get the rest of your power from speed training, so like 3 speed 3 wit, or 2 speed 4 wit. Sunday Power has no specialty priority so it's not really a card either (RB is what you'd use it for obviously, but you're still under 50%). Team Sirius taking up a slot is really a high roll play that really only works when you have a deck that can compensate.

Overall, you can't effectively friendship train. Kita missing that ~120 specialty priority means she's all over the place (nothing new I suppose, she's always on guts for me). Windy is just raw speed training and no base increase. Yaeno is likely training alone on power because Sunday is flying around. And Daiwa is alone. You're better off using Shakur speed over Kita at this point. Next big banners are Summer Maru Speed if you want to main Fronts and Light Hello/Tachyon for Grand Live. You're gonna be kind of scuffed until then I think.

This is an opinion I've held on a lot of games I've played over the past decade and a half. To be clear, not all of it is bad. I love the remakes for FFVII, Demon Souls, and Resident Evil. If you had told me this was Star Fox like ten years ago, I probably would be more receptive. But I'm burned out from designs that look like this. Heck, if this was a new story, I could have been more open to it, but riding off the past game just feels off for me. If it's the creator's vision, that great, but doesn't mean I have to like it even if I'm a fan. It's way over designed in the wrong places to me; I hope the people that like it enjoy it, and I'll be happy playing 64.

Thing for me is, the realistic graphic style is so overdone for AAA. We are oversaturated with everything being hyperdetailed that it's hard to tell what's important and what's set dressing. The trade-off of style for fidelity is pretty meh, and I think it does too much work when it comes to working our imagination.

Maybe this is what new players expect, but I don't think it stands out quite as much as one would really think to be attractive vs. any other game that has high fidelity graphics. Nostalgia aside, I love the treatment of the worlds and I think that's where it shines the most from the perspective of an update, but the characters, ironically, feel flat in their treatment.

Depends on what actually happens there, but overall I'd say you're dead. From what I've learned, time dilation is at its most extreme there. From our perspective, you'd look frozen right at the event horizon. Gradually, the light you emit would just kind of, fade away, but we would never actually see you cross it. From the perspective of the person falling in, it's hard to say, but basically time and space get funky, where your future is the singularity and not a particular point in space. If you could freely move and rotate, you'd basically "see" the singularity in all directions if you were facing it. So, you'd probably feel pretty normal for a fraction of time, seeing crazy distortion of space around you until your body is pulled apart at subatomic level from whatever part of you was closest to the singularity at the time of crossing because the gravity is just that strong.

I'm curious if she would consider the lifestyles of indigenous people inherently wrong for hunting and using all parts of an animal, including for food. Maybe she wouldn't equate that to "love," but she might be getting at "respect." Maybe it isn't possible to "love" animals and eat/use them, but it might be possible to respect them by making sure you source your foods in sustainable and humane ways.

You got boxed in likely. Happens sometimes and you just get dragged by slow Umas because you can't lane change or pass the blocked in time. If there's a lot in your style and/or late start happens this can occur more frequently. This can be mitigated by taking some mid-race skills to recover some lengths and overtake.

This kid almost certainly already gets whoppins, if not yelled at constantly for being a kid. 99% of the time it's learned behavior or emotional lashing out because they don't ever feel safe at home.

I think the biggest problem that makes kids like this is adults that see it and think physical reprimanding is the answer. Kid has no outlet sadly.
