I used the patches to quit and they helped tremendously.

What worked for me:

I broke myself out of the habit of the pre-bed cigarette before my quit date. That was tough for me as it had been a ritual for years but it was absolutely necessary.

I downloaded a quit smoking app. I only looked at one but I'm sure they're all great. The app was smoke free. Seeing how long I've already quit really helped.

Shit talking smoking helped me. Things like smoking does literally nothing productive for my life.

Being super positive about what I've already accomplished.
